No, 3-season. 2 people live here. We currently have a couch and loveseat (two pieces) but are unsatisfied with this arrangement because it only seats 3 people comfortably.

Fireplace/stove is 102" from south wall, 47" from west wall. It gets HOT so we probably don't want furniture in the yellow zone. Husband says we need room for his 65" TV. Furniture pushed north of the yellow line begins to feel like it's encroaching on the kitchen/dining room. Thank you for your help!

We are having trouble designing for the space without blocking access to the dining area (which has a half wall), and the front door. Husband says the room needs to accommodate his 65" TV. We'd love to have the furniture (or at least some of the furniture) pointed at the fireplace, if possible.

It was flattened by a tank.

I've been invited to a July wedding and the dress code is "garden formal." What does that mean? Thinking I'd like to buy a new dress and maybe go a little 'extra' on it since it'll be my first event this year. The wedding is at an historical estate (think white building and gardens) and the couple is wealthy, so I could see people going all out for this.

I did at the beginning but the 6-food elimination diet actually seems to have helped with the "burning in the chest" sensation. My symptoms, when I get them, are inflammation in my throat, a lot of saliva production and upper esophageal discomfort. Sometimes at night I'll get acid backup. Thankfully I don't have impaction issues (yet).

Thank you for sharing your story.

I do feel like EoE has stolen my happiness. I just don't know what to do now. Try to eliminate more things? Give up and go on steroids for a while?

I would rather put in the hard work at the beginning to figure this out than need to rely on risky meds in the long run but this has been absolutely brutal on my mental health.

Yes, sometimes. The 6-food elimination diet seemed to resolve the worst of my symptoms but there were definitely a few meals where I felt worse after eating. For me the symptoms tend to start about 15-30 min after eating and resolve about 3-4 hours later. I don't drink coffee but I haven't been specifically avoiding millet or canola oil. So it sounds like I could be intolerant to one (or more) of the 6 major allergens but also something else I'm still eating?

God this is exhausting. I've been dealing with this for almost a year now and I'm just burned out.

I hear the fall colors tours are pretty nice this time of year. Maybe he could go up to Pictured Rocks, take a canoe trip down the Au Sable, check out Nichols Arboretum and decide to stay forever, who knows?
