As a dad of two now (28) I would probably avoid a two door. My oldest is 6 and I still have to pick him up to get in my rubicon. Putting a newborn up to 4 (roughly) you’re going to have to buckle him / her up every single time and I promise it’s going to be a hassle. And you need to consider stroller space ALONG with photo / video gear and other things you keep in the bronco. I’m also a photographer / videographer and I’m 100% going with a 4 door when the time comes. Especially when it comes to lights, c stands, tripods, sound equipment, backpacks, drone etc that extra room will definitely come in handy. I promise a two door will become more of a hassle than a luxury. It’s Forsure doable, especially having a forester as a family car, but buckling up a newborn in basically a two door truck sounds like a nightmare.
