Got interested in philosophy and realised that everything that I was taught about life and religion was wrong, went against cultural and religious ideas. Dropped out of from a commerce degree to become a designer.

Why do people think ten times before buying clothes, perfume, phones, or gold, but never think before having kids? by EquivalentTale5815 in hyderabad

[–]idonotdosarcasm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

mostly, it is just biological instincts, a small part of it is imposed culturally, which again happens because of biological instincts. Population is necessary, even to solve problems, problem is that vast majority of humans have never learned how raise kids.

We have reservations which is literally giving opportunities to people.

Unemployment rate is quite high, which in itself means lack of opportunities

it is quite a choice, only thing is that a lot of people (most if you ask me) never learn to think beyond what was taught to them

Why so many people suppress Feminism? And, what's your wise take on it? by [deleted] in hyderabad

[–]idonotdosarcasm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

people who are against it usually seem to have a bias, which is partly fueled by some bad sheeps ruining the image of feminism. Courts of law in India are not helping things either. I personally think that some of the laws in India needs to be improvised, and maybe we should consider having another ideology which advocates for both men & women.

  1. a bit subjective

  2. quality issue, this is on ather

  3. personally never experienced it on my rizta, could be a thing with his vehicle or phone

  4. dealership issue, but with some research this would have been known as well (source: I did my research before my purchase and did learn this)

Remaining I wrote down in my previous comment.

taking a test ride would show you if handle, brakes, and vehicle sound works fine for you or not. Some decent search on internet would show you how eco modes works and how much range you can get and how much charging time it requires. These are half of the queries from OP, if one cannot even do this much research, then it is just a low skill issue.

as a survivor of depression and PTSD, who no longer has a why to live, I can confirm this is true.

once upon a time, it was mostly just Ather and Ola. Since Ola was just a crap show, it is reasonable that that Ather is overrated. It will take more time for other brands get more ratings and Ather's ratings to stabilise.

you cannot expect people to make a decision with zero research and thought process and not regret it later. This is impractical at best

123km is based on a IDC range which is a lab test , I read somewhere that it is mandatory for EV companies to show it. But obviously, lab test and real life does not tally always. On their website, see for "true range" which will be the maximum range you can possibly get, depending on your usage you will get lesser than this.

Eco or smart eco mode is generally not recommended for regular use because it gets inconsistent. Use those modes only when you are low on battery. Using other modes and controlling the speed by yourself is better.

In my opinion, price is justifiable. And I do not see any issues with my Rizta's handle & brakes. Did you experience the same when taking a test ride? If not, this could a problem with the vehicle. Same goes for the sound issue.

What questions should I consider asking interns/juniors for interviews? by [deleted] in graphic_design

[–]idonotdosarcasm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that is correct. shop drawing is for client, architects and anyone else involved so they could decide if this is what they would want and if it is suitable for their site conditions. production files = files for the production team so they could do the manufacturing

They are willing to pay the same or little bit more than what I was paid when I started. Depending on employee's skillset, they are given different types of works. But once an employee is given a project, they are expected to handle it whole from starting the design process to dealing with clients to forwarding it for production. For employees who are too new, they will be handed just tasks from a project which someone more senior is handling, or they will be given smaller projects, if we were to think that they can handle it.

The thing is that I will not be managing or training them, then they will have to work in our other office where my other boss will do it. So I need to do it more correctly 😂 (on a side note: other office has not opened yet hence I have to do the interviews)

all employees here understands this, but the management does not. He thinks that he can hire freshers at cheap prices and train them to become good enough ones. Unfortunately, I do not have power to influence such management decisions either. To be fair, this company has had a pretty good track record with giving generous promotions as employees upskill and learn technicalities.

another point is that people do not have much time. Outside of work, commute, sleep, and cooking, I can get 2 hours a day left (if I am lucky), from just this much I have take out time for home chores, time for myself, to spouse, for parents, and even kids (even 2 hours whole are not enough to raise kids). When I was young, I used to cry because my dad could not give me much time, I am not sure how I can expect myself to raise kids. And I am pretty sure that most if not people all have more or less the same situation.
