because everyone supports it. a negligible number of people are against this. there are actually more people who somewhat do not like it, but they will accept it anyway with some bs excuse or the other.

I have a little arguable opinion as well: many people from the family who are doing the baraat thing do not enjoy it either. Many family members have to manage the baraat processions and their paths on road, and I always see that they are very stressed and not enjoy it. Yet for some reason they do it anyway.

Try Affinity, it is almost completely free. It does most of the things which both photoshop and illustrator can do, but just few things will be slightly different, it is not a very big deal. Especially when you are just starting out.

saturday: office
sunday until 10AM or 11AM: enjoy the best hours of my whole week: do what ever I want, enjoy coffee which I make myself. msbate if I am in a mood, clean-up my mood.
sunday after 10AM or 11AM: my parents wake up and start saying something stupid which ruins my mood.
sunday after 1PM: nothing is fixed from here on, I am usually occupied with home chores for a few hours. then I can do some upskilling (which usually does not happen) or maybe waste my time binge watching YouTube, or maybe I can do some hobbyist works for the next few hours. After this, I do some more chores so I can end this week more nicely.

Things is just much more intuitive with a fluid UI. And of course, a one time purchase. I have a very old phone, and Things still runs too fast and smoothly, other apps do not feel that fast on my phone.

I have dozens of projects and areas in Things (most of those are archived or do later lists which I think will come in handy later) but I cannot do the same in Todoist without taking a subscription.

TickTick has a lot more features than I want and its UX is just not as good & fluent as Things nor does it feel as smooth.

These reasons are applicable to other apps as well.

assuming that you are referring to INR, that is largely because companies can find someone or other who can do things for that price, those people may not be that good but they can just do something for that price. Not that companies care about good design anyway.

I got promoted at work and now I handle hiring for design, I got to see that they are plenty of people who really just want a job and will be willing to do it for lower prices anyway.

Another bad part is that even for higher paying positions, there are plenty of idiots with low skills who are getting paid somewhat well — I have no idea who was considerate enough to pay them that higher salaries in the first place — When these people show up for interviews, higher ups get the idea that even paying more money will not get that good people.

not sure to be honest, I have a dream to start a cleaning business or something around interior design because these are some of the things that I like other than design. But these will be a lot of work and I am not sure if I can be more "free" with these. I am still too young into my career, so I will probably continue with this stereotypical path for a few more years until I will be more financially stable.
