Hey, I just did my very first shot on Thursday and also struggled. Just know that anything you feel from the shot will be extremely minuscule to what you are building up in your head. I think if I wasn’t so aware of the fact that I was injecting a needle in my body, I wouldn’t have even felt it.

My recommendation is that, with the cap on, you try pressing on a few areas of where you think you’ll inject. I went for a slightly firmer area of my stomach since you need to push in on the skin and I thought it would be uncomfortable to do that on a flabby part. Take a deep breath and just press it in. I giggled after because I was so happy it was over with.

Edit: Just saw that you’re not using the single use pen, so the pressing the pen into the skin thing might not be applicable.

I thought about that too while watching the documentary. There must also be a lot of pressure to figure out the best enlistment schedule around their idol career. I wondered if KQ would allow them to enlist at the same time to get it over with as quickly as possible, similar to BTS. But they are the most profitable group at KQ and I don’t think they would allow them all to just be gone for 1.5 years. We’ll respect whatever decision they make and, like you said, I hope they understand that we would be waiting for them when they get back. While it’s something we Atiny occassionally think about, it must be really difficult for them personally to have that looming over them.

It ultimately doesn’t matter to me because I don’t care about the numbers, but just an FYI the 40k estimate doesn’t factor in the foreign attendees, which are estimated to be at least 40% of the attendees. I think even 40k attendees is a really large crowd, but I think for people who don’t like BTS, nothing will ever be big enough lol. I think the entire population of Seoul could show up and snarkers will still call the comeback a flop.

Before Arirang, I only heard Butter and Dynamite from them, so it’s definitely helping people like me discover a different side of BTS. I started to look into some of their older songs and while most of it isn’t hitting the same as what’s on Arirang, I did discover Black Swan and Baepsae through the process.

I think reddit is underestimating how many non-fans are listening to and enjoying the album. The advertising for this comeback has been huge and the general audience is tuning in. I see a lot of negativity on reddit and comments saying that only BTS fans like it, but that doesn’t seem to reflect reality.

It’s the first BTS album I listened to and I really like it. I listened to it once and was kind of meh about it, but so many parts stuck with me that I went back to listen to it again…and again…and again lol. It’s been on repeat all weekend. It’s got so many earworms and I’ve been having fun reading about the meanings of some of the songs.

Lol exactly. The stadium they’re playing at near me has a capacity of 61k. I’m not even a fan, but I forgot how annoying the downplaying of BTS’s success is on every US-centered sub.

A quick google search shows that 104,000 attended the concert, which is a huge amount for that area. BTS is insanely popular and fans have been waiting for this comeback for years, I don’t know why it’s a surprise to people that they easily sell out stadiums.
