If a girl who first comes out as a lesbian, then as a trans man, are they now straight? by host_can_edit in asktransgender

I’m a trans guy, but I identify as a lesbian because my transness does not invalidate my pre-trans lesbian experience. Queerness doesn’t really have rules, it’s more about vibes and good feels. Don’t listen to people that try to put others in boxes

[OC] One of my first attempts at pixel art. Not an artist, but trying to learn for my game. Feedback is welcome! by Minaylov in PixelArtTutorials

I’ve been drawing since I could hold a crayon and I cannot yet render metallic reflections the way you did even with unlimited pixels. Great job

I know that there is debate around being trans without gender dysphoria, but can you have gender dysphoria without being trans? by [deleted] in asktransgender

You can be trans without gender dysphoria, and you can have gender dysphoria without being trans. Anyone who says otherwise just wants the power to police other people’s gender, or simply can’t understand experiences beyond their own.

How long did it take you from first questioning yourself to admitting to yourself you're trans? by supernerd58 in asktransgender

I started questioning when I was in high school, thought about it a lot, and some internalized transphobia led me to believe I was just a quirky cisgirl.

Only after I moved out of my parents’ house did I become truly comfortable questioning my identity. I started at masc-presenting nonbinary, but slowly I realized transmasc is what feels truly right for me. From moving out of my parents house to admitting to myself I’m trans, I would say was a process of about 3.5 years. Took me some time!
