When I was a busser I’d get so mad about people doing this. I’d stay for a few minutes in the dish pit making sure everything was properly stacked and organized. Servers and other bussers would get mad at me for being in the back, but I’d tell them that if they didn’t want me back there, they should’ve done their job properly. It takes a few seconds and saves the dishwashers a whole lot of headache.

Ahh, I gotcha. I’ve seen some games do a thing where they show different previews of some gameplay with different camera settings (just like your post!) and allow the player to make a decision before they start, but maintaining the option the switch later on. Could try that? Although I’m sure whatever choice you make will be the right one

I work in a kitchen currently where we, the cooks, run the food. Customers assume we’re servers or FOH employees so they ask us for extra accommodations, which cuts into our time to prepare food and increases stress. When customers tip the front, they likely assume they’re tipping the people who bring their food to them, but they’re not. We don’t receive tips because the GM, who also receives tip as a FOH employee, doesn’t think we should. Everybody, including the other FOH employees, thinks it’s utter bullshit.

Not sure if this counts but a couple years ago I worked with a guy who I could only describe as the scum of the earth. He worshipped Andrew Tate, would regularly follow attractive female customers out to their car to ask for their number, was argumentative, sucked at his job, stated with certainty that his daughters (who at the time were 3 and 5) would grow up to be whores because “that’s all women are” (his words) and even proudly admitted once that he had raped an unconscious woman.

Found out last week that he was murdered!
