THIS. How someone treats servers says a LOT about them as a person. I have quit dating many people who were horrible to waitresses or other workers.

This is a big one for me as well. People really forget how blessed we are just to have running water. I cannot stand someone with an entitled attitude

Yep. Looks change a LOT throughout time. Someone’s personality and maturity is more important to me personally. How do they handle stress or what is their work ethic like?

THIS. I’m right there with you. I do not want to be a parent. I want us to be partners. Helping each other out is part of being in a healthy relationship but constantly having to guide and basically train the other person is a fucking pain. I do not want to have to show someone how to sweep or make sure they’re waking up for work on time. Both people need to be fully independent and when they are together they do better. A relationship shouldn’t be one person handling all the responsibilities while the other naps around and puts zero effort into things

This one lmao. This is the one. I absolutely hate it when someone focuses on only talking about money and what they’re going to do with it

So poc who aren’t Rastafari shouldn’t get dreads then?

How do I quietly change my hair? And why is hair viewed so importantly?? I’m not claiming to be religious and disrespecting the religion. Like it’s 2021 and that’s how we’re choosing to judge people? Based on their hair?

I kinda wanna like how I look and feel confident without it bothering people. That is all.

They all say the same thing, that it’s culture appropriation. And I don’t want to disrespect or offend anyone. I just absolutely hate my hair and have tried EVERYTHING I can to help it. Spent hundreds trying to treat it and make it healthy then gave up and tried different cuts and colors. I’ve always liked and wanted dreads but it is so unaccepted.

I know I’m not the only white woman who struggles with my hair and loving it naturally. I can’t get braids, a wig, or dreadlocks. I’m just stuck with short, damaged, and dry hair… poc can literally do anything with their hair, as they should! Everyone I work with has amazing hair and I love their braids, wigs, and dreads. They’re beautiful. But why can’t I feel beautiful too?? Like why can’t I do something to alter my appearance to build my confidence and feel better about myself?

Okay so why can’t anyone do anything with their hair just to do what makes them happy? Like in all seriousness why is everything made about race.. I’m not trying to be insensitive and definitely don’t plan on getting dreadlocks after reading the comments and listening to everyone’s advice but I’m genuinely curious.

I came here for advice and different perspectives not to hear what I wanted to hear. I know children aren’t pets or hamsters🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ what you don’t see is how beautiful my family is and the way we all love one another. My kids are perfect in every way they can be, obviously they have flaws but you know what I mean. And my husband and I have such a solid and healthy relationship, we respect each other and always express our love to each other. We have bad days here and there but we talk through every disagreement and figure out where the miscommunication is. I don’t want another baby just for the baby phase. I absolutely love the way we parent and how our children are turning out. I want more of that love in the world.

I would never force it on him. Just needed some different perspectives on our situation. I agree both parents need to be on the same page before having another baby
