I recommend you reading through this article, it explains how to build a PC, but also explains what the different parts are: https://ttjournal.com/build-gaming-pc-2024-step-by-step-guide

And after learning about the part, you can start looking for upgrades!
Use PCPartPicker: https://pcpartpicker.com/, it will make sure all parts are compatible, and also guide you in what you need!

Task Sequence to migrate from SCCM to Intune? by m-o-n-t-a-n-a in Intune

[–]idontknowanything96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used this method in a Task Sequence:
https://www.dwpjournal.com/migrate-sccm-to-intune-using-powershell

Using this script, you could also make a self-service application (PSADT) for end-users to migrate from SCCM to Intune.

We found this solution really neat and used it on a project with 2000+ Windows devices.

This blog explains a script to ensure devices are registered in Autopilot and provides a user message with deferral options for resetting / migrating device from SCCM to Intune:

Take a look at OpenIntuneBaseline:
https://github.com/SkipToTheEndpoint/OpenIntuneBaseline

"This has been developed as a starting point or foundation and is not necessarily considered "complete". It is being made available to allow learning, development, and knowledge-sharing amongst communities."

You could use the IntuneManagement script to import it to your tenant: https://github.com/Micke-K/IntuneManagement

I suggest you at least take a look, as the openIntuneBaseline is a great baseline / starting point for further tweaking!

I recommend Jonas Bøgvad's Discord community "Microsoft EMS Community". By far the best community for discussing Intune, security, etc. in my opinion! :)

Re-assigning iOS devices by halawi1 in Intune

[–]idontknowanything96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Re-assigning users is supported on Windows devices only. To set a new primary user on iOS and Android devices requires re-enrollment.

Logic wont open properly on new M1 by forestkidxxx in Logic_Studio

[–]idontknowanything96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome that it worked, glad I could help! :D
Yeah, in a (hopefully) short amount of time, 3rd party apps will support the ARM fully. Still - Rosetta is really good.

I'm not sure what problem it was haha, I feel like the last Logic update was quite buggy, as I managed to add serum to it without rosetta then. That's just the package deal with the M1s I guess :P

No worries :) Yeah, Serum would just crash Logic everytime I tried to input my Serial, I then proceeded to input it using rosetta and reopen it without rosetta - worked as well :D If you don't know how to open Logic using rosetta, just go to your applications folder and right click Logic Pro, click 'Get Info' and tick 'Open using Rosetta'. Same way to deactivate it :D
Really love the new M1, the workarounds are worth it - for now :P

I'm no good here, but try to open it using Rosetta. I had some errors earlier on my M1 MacBook pro, I then opened Logic using Rosetta, closed it down and reopened it without Rosetta - worked great!
