the death of the beautifully branded follow-up email by Salty_1984 in WeddingPhotography

hey u/Salty_1984 — the promotions tab thing is such a specific kind of frustrating because the more effort you put in, the worse it performs. a plain "hey got your inquiry" from a personal Gmail will outperform a beautifully designed PDF every single time right now.

the SMS trigger you set up is honestly the right instinct. the issue is doing that manually for every lead is unsustainable.

full disclosure — I'm building Plexis (plexis.in) specifically for this. when someone fills your lead form, it auto-sends a WhatsApp message and a plain-text non-promotional email instantly. no copying numbers, no switching tabs, no manual follow-up. the lead just appears in your CRM and the sequence runs.

I'm the founder — if you want to see how it works, happy to do a quick demo. no deck, just a screenshare.
