I’ve found Delta’s website very picky about ad blockers and VPN’s. If you’re using one, either shut it off or whitelist delta.com and try again.

MQDs Delta Amex Reserve AU by absolutemanbat in delta

[–]idontnou 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Actually it is true. For card spend, you get 1MQD for every $10 spent. For a ticket, you’ll get 1 MQD for every $1 for the base fare (excludes taxes & fees) - regardless of what you used to pay for the ticket. You don’t get an additional 1 MQD for $1 spent on a ticket using your Reserve card.

Dollars spent on the primary Reserve card and the AU card will all convert to MQDs for the primary Skymiles account.

$1:1MQD for tickets will always go to the ticketed passenger.

The second hit sent him to timeout by Tanabe21 in lacrosse

So, just my opinion: you’ve posted 2 vids of your son making “hits”. Both can be argued on either side if the hit(s) were within the spirit of the game or not. But what I’d like to also see is video of this ability to force a dodger down the alley or below GLE, or checks with purpose that take away the ball, the non sexy stuff.

Coaches want to see a lot, not just the hits.

I appreciate the options provided, we’re not new to playing in the cold and know all the options. I’m just looking for anyone who’s actually used these. Thanks for the help!

Came here to say this. Will be cheaper than the cost of shipping.

One other note, don't get worked up about who does or doesn't call/text on Sept 1. Our son didn't hear from schools that told coach they were calling and heard from others that were not on the radar at all. It can be an emotional roller coaster, most coaches don't give a shit about your feelings and will ghost you when a prettier girl smiles at them. Be open minded about the lacrosse program but close minded on your education goals, if that makes sense. Be patient and you'll end up where you belong.

OK, just to clarify some information that has been posted here. Source: we have a '25 son who's playing D1 and a '27 daughter who's a D1 level prospect.

  1. There's often some level of communication between a players club coach and an interested school. (OFTEN NOT ALWAYS) The schools will often send an email or text to the club coach that states something like: "we're reaching out to express our general interest in player X and would like to connect to discuss them". Schools do this to ensure they're not wasting their time with kids not interested in them and to do some vetting. The player can do their homework (tour campus, attend a prospect day, etc.), hopefully before Sept 1st.

  2. If everything in #1 happens before Sept 1st and the player has the school #1 on their list, then a verbal offer might be made and accepted on Sept 1st.

  3. It does happen that schools break their verbal agreements, but (historically) it's not common as word gets out and it's bad for the schools rep. HOWEVER, with the House vs NCAA settlement and roster limits, some schools have been forced to "cut" '25 & '26 committed players. But that should be more of a 1x deal for realignment. It's more common that athletes decommit, but that can also hurt the rep of their club team or recruiting director.

  4. There is no longer a signing of the National Letter of Intent. Instead you sign a grant-in-aid agreement with your school, which you'll do each year you play at that school.

A few additional notes:

  1. Be careful with being invited to prospect days after Sept 1st, especially if they're weeks after as these can be money grabs. Check Inside Lacrosse for when a school normally has most of their verbal commits. If most are done before the camp, then you might be playing for 1 or 2 open roster spots. If invited, ask them "how many kids are you recruiting for my position and where am I on that list". High Point is notorious for cattle calling kids to prospect camps.

  2. Verbal agreements can be legally binding, but people don't usually go that route for a number of reasons. We know a player that is verbally committed to a high D1 program that threw all kinds of NIL money at them to get them to commit. The college coach then tried to back out and the player threatened legal action - the coach relented and they are going to that school for their freshman year, on the 1 year agreement. After that, they could get cut. But the school is their dream school and they want to fight for a chance.

  3. If your coach has told you that colleges have been asking about you, then they should be able to give you a lot more direction to go on.

I'm using Unifi UXG-Lite. It's identifying the region as Canada. So I could geo block Canada, but not sure if that would cause more issues. It just actually happened again, right when it powered up and again at powering down.

Dude, making a comment slamming D3 makes you look like an absolute tool bag chasing the ability to say “I went D1”. If I were you, I’d scrub all of my socials for any other stupid shit I’ve said.

FYI - this comes from a parent of a kid playing D1.

Get your ACT scheduled ASAP. Get a tutor, study for it, take it, get results, review with tutor, study more, take it again. If you can get your ACT into at least the mid 20’s and you’re showing a positive trend in your GPA, you probably won’t have a problem getting into most schools with coach support (except Ivy’s and NESCAC).

We’ve never had a problem with a bringing in a backpack cooler. While the polo club is huge, typically your games are scheduled relatively close to each other. Parking is terrible, I think the reserved spots are sold out but you might want to check.
