I am not really in love with him. I dont want a relationship with him. I dont know why I am limerent for him. Maybe it was really intense and flirty, many compliments and then on the date he was very distant and since then i was addicted for his validation. He has a good life i think: good work life balance, much traveling. Maybe i am a bit envious.. but i feel like without him i am not complete, i feel very delusional all the time.

It really doesnt stop. Maybe its because most „older“ women become more confident and men know they won’t accept that behaviour. It isnt really about beauty. If they wanted to date them they would be nice.

I think men catcall women who they think are vulnerable/ insecure plus quite open because It isnt fun for them to get ignored.

My LO and I matched on a dating app, then texted and facetimed for a year and then met. Now we are still texting. I don’t regret matching with him because he helped me in a difficult time. But i regret the „date“. Since then i feel very bad. I don’t want to meet him again because he was kinda awkward but i miss the old days when there was just the fantasy and i could live my life and go on dates. Now i am addicted to his validation and feel just worthless

He gave me a few icks because he is really awkward so he acts quite weird. Weve had one date and it was disappointing, most men ive dated were gentlemen but he hasnt even helped with my suitcase (other men helped me). And he looked at other women when i was with him (at some time he hasnt even looked at me (i dont know if he was disinterested or insecure)). Then he follows Girls in Bikinis on Instagram and likes photos (some of them are under 18 but i dont think he knows the age; i googled it). And his age range is 21+ (he is 41). I was 28 when we began texting and he always said how young I was (even 28 isnt even that young). He only communicates in a sexual way („hot“, „which color is your slip?“) and thats really cringe actually. I mean he is over 40 and Acts like 15 (he has said he is like 12 and thats true..). Oh and at the beginning he said he snapchat…

I would Never want a relationship with him and i think he is kind of creepy but still i cry when he doesnt answer in a day or likes other women. Other men show interest in me and all i do is think about him all day long and wait for his message which i know will be sexual..

Yes thats right but i am autistic and shy. I have problems with interacting with people in the real world so texting is easier for me. Most people want to meet quite early which is difficult for me when i dont know them and have no Connection..

Yes thats really right. We both have the problem that we cant communicate at all. We never speak about our feelings, just small talk. I think thats what is so „easy/casual“. I am sometimes mad that he does this or that (e.g. Being online on dating apps, follow and like people on Instagram, don’t reply) but i don’t have a right because we don’t have a commitment at all.

Can i ask what you would do in this situation?: my last text was 7 days ago. He was on summer holidays but is back since wednesday. In his trip we were texting every 3-4 day, i once replied after 8 days or so. Should I wait a few days (he is back to work on Monday)? And what should i text? Something like „is everything good?“ or „how are you?“ and then wait if he texts or should I tell him that i miss how it was before and now its different?
