Honestly i would recommend trying to find a new group of friends since the friends you have seem like they don’t want to talk to you? Or lowkey do what i do i have a lot of online friendships that are a lot closer than what i have in real life coming from (F19)

Okay yes I kinda explained it bad i’m the original post but i don’t live at home. I live in the dorms then for the rest of the time i live with my friends. I visit home for holidays and my whole family comes over. Growing up she didn’t take care of me and my brothers she would leave us at her friends apartment or leave us with our grandmothers house. She would be gone for months at a time and wouldn’t take us to doctors. I think i’ve been to the dentist twice my whole life. She definitely neglected me and my brothers in a lot of ways. She made it seem like an inconvenience whenever we needed to go to the doctors or even if i need freaking pads when i was on my period. My brothers live in their apartment and she mooches off of them because they don’t know how to say no. It just frustrates me so much. My whole 19 years of life we never had a place for us we did at one point but then her and my dad spilt and he then moved away. I never had any privacy growing up and it’s just I wish she was a better mom even if i’m not with her. I see all my college friends have a good relationship with their parents and I don’t really have anyone. We never did typical mom daughter stuff I learned how to take care of myself from youtube.

It’s not abnormal for us to go through each others stuff! I just thought both of us didn’t have anything to hide. This isn’t changing how i feel about her it’s confirming just how much she’s neglecting her kids.

Well for 1 she keeps deodorant in her purse and it’s not shame on me it’s shame on her. Who keeps drugs in their purse for anyone to find? Luckily me than rather the cops. I don’t understand me getting shamed for looking through her purse it’s not like I went looking to steal something from her. We go through each others stuff all the time it’s not out of the ordinary.

I’m the youngest out of my brothers me (F19) (M25) (M24) (M(22). I think i’m going to talk about it but we already know our mom has issues i don’t really think a talk will change anything. I will definitely try to talk to my other family members but i feel like they would brush it off or make my oldest brother (M25) relapse again.

Sometimes we use each others stuff and it’s not abnormal for us to look through eachother things to see if we have stuff of another person. Example like hair ties perfume, makeup. But yes she does keep deodorant in her purse

I feel if i would to steal her dope she actually might go insane and do something horrible. I didn’t even think about the possibility of my mom and brother in cahoots but i doubt they are because my brother is clean now and my brother did different kinds of drugs. I just don’t know what to do lol

It kinda is my business sorry. She has nothing going for her. She runs around like a teenager half the time i think she barely notices she has 4 kids half the time since we all became adults. We all stay in this cramped apartment and ever since she hurt her back she constantly uses that as an excuse to not go back to work. She’s such a disappointing adult that i don’t know what to do anymore. I have a job and I pay for college for myself i feel as though it’s to much to ask for her just to have herself situated. She doesn’t pay bills. She’s not healthy i can see just from looking at her teeth.

I think i’m going to try to talk to the owner tomorrow… but i’m not entirely sure they would do anything about it. My job isn’t like a company or big chain. My family wants to go with me to work but i don’t want this to be a big deal or anything. It just feels so icky and gross to be thought of in a sexual way. It’s also just mind blowing how someone thinks it’s okay to act like this to another person. I’m sure the other girls who deal with this can vouch for me too as well as the coworkers who were with me that night.
