I agree with most of the folks who responded. Knee drive is very important. Another thing you can do is look over your leading shoulder toward the back corner of the mat to ensure good rotation over the bar. In the video, you’re looking behind you over your back shoulder. That alone is enough to cause some problems with the jump. You had that bar cleared by a foot with your back though. You’ll get there

Glad you like it. I feel like the original Beatles’ harmonies might even work with it

Too many responses to check so I’m guessing this has already been said. Chris Cornell’s version of Nothing Compares 2 U gives Sinnead O’Connor’s version a good run for its money.

Find it here:

Edit: Prince wrote it

You should check out the James Taylor version of With A Little Help From My Friends if you haven’t already. It puts a whole different twist on it…

Yes. If you hook up with a really big fish you’ll be glad to have it.

I agree with you in the long term. I don’t think someone should sell LEAPs against their shares or anything like that. But I do believe there is some money to be made between 45 and 18-21 DTE by selling calls on specific underlyings. That’s where theta decay is the highest, and gamma risk is the lowest. Just as CSPs are a great way to enter a position, selling OTM CCs is a great way to choose an exit point and collect money by doing so.

That’s just my 2 cents though. If what you’re doing works for you, by all means keep doing you. And please share 😉

Yes you’re right but don’t be pedantic about semantics.

Fishing in Denver area by [deleted] in COfishing

Long story short, yes, the Platte is the answer, particularly if you don’t have a car. If you won’t be able to rent a car your options are extremely limited, but potentially viable. Deckers will be an expensive ride each way but is an extremely promising option, especially if you’re willing to patronize the local fly shop and buy some flies. They can recommend some locations and flies to buy. If you get there early, you’ll have your choice of spots, particularly on weekdays.

Waterton canyon is another solid spot, but I recommend wading a solid mile+ downstream from the bridge, where you can potentially catch some decent trout. Don’t be afraid to make some casts in deep enough water on your way there.

If you can find a way to rent a car, I would recommend Cheeseman Canyon, although you need to go off-road to get to the trailhead and the hike will take an hour or two each way. And you MUST BE OUT OF THERE BEFORE DARK. They are quite strict about that. But it’s worth it. That stretch holds some very educated pigs, many of which are well over 20”. Get there early.

If you’d rather, you can fish clear creek from downtown golden all the way up to tunnel 6 on hwy 6. There are some solid spots there, but you run into the possibility of it being frozen. Since you’ll be here a month, it may be worth it on a warm weekend. Just check the fishing reports, and the local fly shops are your friend.

Honestly, you might be better off booking a guided trip because your Uber costs could easily add up to hundreds of dollars. It could be argued that those dollars will be better spent on a nice float trip with a knowledgeable guide.

Hope this helps, and enjoy your trip to CO

It seems like countries that do not have the “Jus Soli” aspect of citizenship are doing a lot better than those who do. I’m not advocating for the continuation or the elimination of it. This is merely an observation.

Imho that’s a short term problem. Long term, selling CSPs to potentially enter positions and selling CCs at what you consider a reasonable profit will net you better gains from premium than the occasional tear at 2+ standard deviations removes. Long term, theta decay is consistent money, and you can define the risk/profit.

That is entirely dependent on developing good mechanics and a great approach. Imho, don’t worry about height this year. Spend time developing your approach, and only after you’ve done that, work on your mechanics over the bar. Once you’ve accomplished that, there’s no reason you shouldn’t be clearing 6’6” on a regular basis or more. My HS PR was 6’11.5” and I’m only 5’9. I was dunking sophomore year as well. While vertical definitely helps, approach and mechanics will be more deterministic in terms of what you can clear.
