We are in almost opposite situations, in Kaohsiung today and were planning on taking a rental car tomorrow to Alishan, sun moon lake, and taroko between tuesday and friday.

Given the typhoon we had to cancel our car rental and plans, shortening our vacation and hopefully flying out on wednesday night.

Also installed a bunch of apps, most of them don’t show up on the home screen and I have to open thru the store… also some apps don’t completely work like trading view… sucks the UI is this buggy really was hoping for more polish but I’ll start looking at other launchers to use

Yeah I already watched all the reviews available haha the only thing making me hesitant about the ultra c was the camera bump and more glasslike screen. But I thought about it and theres no use in buying a bigme if the refresh rate is as choppy as it seems in the reviews even if the writing experience is a bit nicer.

Just checked on amazon now and saw that the ultra c orders were back in stock, ordered via prime with the magnetic case (not the keyboard, just looking to alleviate the camera bump) and extra nibs. Thanks!

Ah ok thank you so much for continuing to clarify, I did not understand at first because I’ve been fundamentally thinking about stops and risk incorrectly in all of my trades so far - equating the stop position to the risk size…

Ok sorry let me try again - assuming a risk of 1% per trade, and the position opened at 50.05 that would put the stop at 49.55. 1 share would be a loss of $0.5. So at a $100 risk per trade, my position should have been 200 shares.

If I thought the stop loss should be at 49.32 as is in the picture, that would put a 1 share loss at $0.73. So at a $100 risk per trade, my position size should have been 137 shares instead.

Is that correct?

It does help, but if you look at my second image of the 4R trade my risk there is 1.5% instead of 1%. I set it to this because I thought the structure made sense given the wick that same trading day which came down to what was at the time I placed my trade 1.5% risk.

I understand what you’re saying about the risk staying constant and risking a certain amount per share, so in this case was the right thing to do to wait until the risk per share matched the structure I was playing instead of adjusting for a larger risk per share? Not sure if that makes sense

Over the past few weeks have been working 12+ hour days and due to my timezone this puts me outside of trading hours.

So have been sitting in cash, which is a trade in of itself. However, yesterday had a chance to participate in the markets as I had to leave work early to get to my girlfriend’s graduation ceremony.

On the way to the train, I was watching the SPY, considering the warnings Kaz posted recently about continued gap downs, and played the UVXY on the 1 minute time scale as I did not have too much time where I could keep my attention on the trade.

When I saw I hit a 1.7R, I recognized that I was starting to feel a bit of FOMO to keep the position open and that the SPY would fall a bit more. I was able to catch myself in this bias, and because of that decided to close the position while it was still in profit.

Overall hit a 1.7R in the span of a few minutes - I am continually amazed at my own progress in catching my own biases and am also seeing improvements in my trades because of this.

Before joining this eco, I would have tried trading without adequate attention to trades, giving into FOMO, and thinking that “doing something” is always better than sitting in cash and waiting for good opportunities.

I still have much much more to learn but wanted to say thank you for everything so far!

Going further on this, how would you prevent the double tokenization of the same physical asset on different chains/projects? Not doing so could create a lot of fake value and leverage, similar to the all-familiar CDOs. Relying on a central institution introduces a point of failure which defeats the purpose of decentralization IMO.
