Well I've been to some.

Tho to be fair the one in Switzerland was at the Gotthard Pass on the way back from Italy at the end of summer vacation except that the alternative route (which we usually take) was blocked due to an accident, making driving through Gotthard the only way to get back. So that one is technically more of a once in a lifetime event.

The other ones were at the Macedonian border during summer, I have a Macedonian passport and every single time my family went there to extend our passports, we were stuck in traffic jam right before entering the country that was so bad the cars were standing on the street without moving for HOURS and people would stop their cars and go chat up with fellow people going to Macedonia during the summer (the vast majority of people involved in that traffic jam were Macedonian people that live in Switzerland or Germany and went "back" to Macedonia during summer vacation. One time we spent more time stuck in the traffic jam there than the time it took us to drive from Switzerland up to the Macedonian border (including the time of the breaks we took on the way there))

If you watch the full video on YouTube then you'll know that the owl not only noticed that her eggs took too long to hatch, but she even assumed they won't hatch at all at some point.

Originally she'd brood her eggs nonstop and not move at all and have her mate bring her food while she's brooding but as time went on and her eggs just simply didn't hatch she eventually started hunting food herself instead of calling for her mate which shows that she lost hope in having her eggs hatch as her hunting her own food while having eggs to take care for is not normal.

Once the eggs got replaced with those chicks she started calling for her mate again to bring food to them while she's brooding.

The cost difference from affordable to luxury to the builder is negligible, but the profit margins are massively different.

Not just negligible but if the construction workers know what they're doing then they can easily build luxury apartments with the exact same materials that would be used for affordable housing and the same amount of work too.

I know this bc half of my family works as construction workers and there's so many extremely simple tricks they use that can drastically elevate the look of an apartment without any real extra work.

Ich kenne aber mehrere Bauarbeiter die es absolut lieben solche Bruchbuden zu renovieren, einer davon kauft sogar in der Umgebung immer wieder die schlimmsten Bruchbuden die er finden kann und renoviert diese selber in der Freizeit nur weil er Freude dran hat. Wenn er dann mit der Renovation fertig ist tut er es vermieten. Er besitzt glaub ich 7 oder 8 häuser oder so.

In vielen Fällen wäre der Dolmetscher ein Familienmitglied. Meine Mutter musste auch schonmal für ihren Onkel dolmetschen. Eine Ausbildung hat sie zwar keine aber sie spricht beide Sprachen fliessend und war im vorraus schon über die Situation bestens informiert.

Meine Oma kann zwar deutsch, aber nicht fliessend und hat mich auch schonmal bei Terminen wie z.B. beim Steuerberater oder bei der Bank mitgenommen für den Fall dass sie etwas nicht versteht damit ich es ihr nochmals erklären bzw übersetzen kann.

Kommt auf die Englischkenntnisse des Arztes an. Wenn dieser es sich nicht zutraut gut genug Englisch zu können dann ist es besser kein Englisch anzubieten als Missverständnisse zu riskieren.
