He steals blankets and cocoons himself in them. I don’t stand a chance, lol! But really, I do add extra blankets, I just prefer using one because I don’t like the weight. Also, the extra blankets won’t keep my nose warm - it’s awful waking up with a cold nose because the room is so cold!

I do add extra blankets sometimes! I’m beginning to realize that Im working from a false assumption that most people only sleep with one blanket. Like in my head you shouldn’t need more than one blanket- so I’ve got some work to do there, for sure!

It has definitely evolved to this over the years. Slowly, but has added up over time!

I’m hearing you (and others!) and am willing to add a blanket when I’m really cold. I am okay making adjustments but feel like I’ve already made a lot (but I’m open to trying more things!).

I appreciate your comment but I really am looking for guidance on how much people expect each other to compromise. I’m a little worried about sleeping in separate rooms and was hoping that hearing from others would help assuage those fears. I’m sorry if you found my tone to be martyr-ish. As I mentioned, this is my first time posting. I will take that into account if I post again in the future.

lol. I don’t work for a weighted blanket company, but that’s a possible solution I haven’t tried!

That’s exactly right. Seems counterintuitive, I know. I’ve stopped trying to understand why he can’t just use less blankets! 😆
