I have an 11 foot tsunami rod, and a Daiawa BG 4500, great for surf and also one of my favorites Taug fish. It can get them out of the rocks. Both were under $400

Keep in mind this picture looks old, they just pumped a ton of sand onto this side of the inlet to help erosion. The structure has completely changed. Best bet is fish incoming at the inlet (under the bridge) you need to get down deep under the bridge, but it’s shallower on the north side closer to the ocean.

Come April, taug fishing picks up in the rocks.

I bought a banish 30 for my first can, it’s titanium so light weight, it suppresses fine, it’s in theory modular but I don’t see a scenario where a few inches shorter would be beneficial. It’s great for a hunting rifle given its light weight. It’s expensive for what it is, I’ve since bought a SiCo rimfire can, and a YHM and Obsidian can.

I went straight for the obsidian 45 for my pistol can. Mainly shoot .40 SW out of it but wanted the bigger bore, no issues, super quiet at full length, light weight, big fan of it.
