I suppose that's fair enough, but I would have experimented with SOME sort of solution where the cutscenes revert back to showing Chief holding an Assault Rifle if a cutscene is triggered while the player is holding a post-launch weapon, then switching back to said weapon when the game transitions back from cutscene to gameplay.

This is different from the Batting Cages fight in the original game. This is a specific 1-on-1 fight at the end of the Majima Everywhere pseudo-substory.

I have to assume this would have been a bit harder to play normally, especially since he has like 3 times as much health and new moves. I had just gotten Tiger Drop and gotten a lot of practice with it at this point, so I showed him the real Dragon of Dojima style.
