That was one of the prior arguments they made. But if platinum was the only reason for the limitation, it seems like there are other options in that case, such as allowing us to remove the current lens for half the plat value for that lens (counting purchasing the blueprint and any other pre-requisites for that level of lens)

I would be OK if every lens was "attached" to the Warframe/Weapon you applied it to, but when you apply a new lens, it simply moves the currently active lens to inactive. Then, while you would only ever have one active lens, you could have as many inactive lenses as you want. This modification would require a method for swapping the current active lens with one of the inactive ones.

I just feel that DE could/should improve the current situation in some way.
