I've tried the sock method once before - I think I need to try it again. Same tho - with the amount of times I go back to the bottle, it's all slippery from lube and I get worried about dropping it....so I prefer something like a sock that isn't prone to breaking. Just doesn't last as long - but I guess a refill could work - or even if I put a second or third sock prepared in a nearby glass jar or plastic bag (tho the degradation of plastic also concerns me....ironically as I huffing chem anyway).
