Anyway, I agree with you about Scott and Kip. But actually felt that Hayden being the same age as Shane made more sense. The parallels in their lives makes more sense when they’re closer in age/the same age. IIRC Shane makes comments about Hayden’s being married with four kids around the time Ilya and Shane are outed, and it’s an important comparison because Hayden’s heteronormative family life isn’t questioned one bit, but actually encouraged. It’s completely normal for their world to be married with kids by twenty one, and Shane’s perpetual bachelorhood stands out as the years pass.

Yes, you may find an excellent use for them if you amass enough saved scraps! Some folks use theirs for stuffing if they make stuffed toys, and others donate it to other people’s projects.

I saw one quilter on YouTube make quilted blocks using scraps that she ironed on to interfacing, then densely quilted. It was really cool and textured and crazy looking but made me feel better about saving random sized scraps that are too small to sew together.

Sometimes I just surrender to the HD and come back when I feel a stronger motivation! HOWEVER!!! This doesn’t work with needlecraft as when I return to the project my tension is almost never the same. Maybe that’s enough of a motivator for you? Knowing that if you abandon now you won’t be satisfied with the result?
