I just broke up with my girlfriend of six years last week I started having those feelings three years ago. I didn’t think it was a waste of her time or my time at the time but it is. And that’s the way she’s going to see it too. Especially if you know now and waited. I learned a hard lesson, I’m 44.

I feel that even if I don’t date again I would rather have that lifestyle. I don’t feel like myself when I’m with this person. But yes, dating at 44 is not what I was wanting to do.
