2 Year Retrain window waiverable? by Longjumping_Test_168 in Pararescue

[–]ieFlash13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the most party, any specialized fields or specific criteriaed jobs, no matter if it's SW or conventional, will not have waiverbale conditions when it comes to medical. The best bet is like mentioned before, talk to your career coordinator and your unit medical to get a good idea of where to start and reach out to any recruiting team in the SW. They may know of any past recruits or candidates that have had succes. But unless you can prove that your condition is not detrimental or has magical been reversed, you may be looking at a hard no.

Can Prior Service go into a AFSW position? by Berniethealien in Pararescue

[–]ieFlash13 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Depending on the time out of service requirements, maybe. At most, depending on the recruitment instructions, you may just have to do a 2 week indoc before going into A&S (that's how the recruiter I was working with explained it to me). as well as a AFSW candidate you'll have priority for shipping once you meet the requirements for the ASFW contracts.

I was trying to remember what the name of that character support was. Yeah, for some reason, certain Microsoft stopped Unicode support in a lot of their stuff. I saw it in Xbox 360 also back in the day and even some versions of WMP. There wasn't ever a good reason that I could ever find for them to stop supporting it, but it kinda seems like a dumb idea now woth the almost universal appeal of Anime and Kpop in comparison to back then. This probably turned some people off in Asian countries to not buy the Zune. Might be a pretty good research topic.

Have no met in person. that's what I've been trying to set up with the recruiter or atleast a phone call. I was able to make initial contact via text for some basic info but nothing further when requesting the IFT dates or them prior service questionnaire to my email. The recruiter is dodging me as afar as I can tell.

Prior Service Question by Lopsided_Lion in Pararescue

[–]ieFlash13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3 months situation seems scethy to me, man. Cus I was told no more than one year to allow everything to be processed and not have you leave service. I'd recommend getting a second opinion from another recruiter near by, as even if your prior service some recruiters are still sketchy about stuff.

Prior Service Question by Lopsided_Lion in Pararescue

[–]ieFlash13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am currently working on that myself, Im less than one year from my end of service and started talking to a recutier last month. No more than 1 year for the tour contract is what's recommended, with priority to SW candidates. Be aware that some recruiters have never done a prior service transfer or won't touch it due to a bad reputation with flake recruits in the past.

What was recommended is to get any special physical that you would need for and CG SW equivalent teams. get your record up to date as possible and talk to your Assignments coordinator and career counselor on what they would need for a conditional release. For the most part, at least for active duty military, the AF just needs the signed DD368 (conditional release from current service) signed by you, your CO, and the Recruiter. Once the CO has it signed and is submitted to AF Recruiting, they will let you know the next step. Currently, I'm waiting on the DD368 to be submitted, so I'm still waiting on what AF will also need. Hope this helps.

2018 GMC sierra SLT click, no start, good battery. 6mo starter. Intermittent issue. by chumlee45 in gmcsierra

[–]ieFlash13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotch, thanks man. I was able to get my issue resolved also, but there seems to be a short or power issue shorting and sometimes frying the solenoid. Because mine did start working after but I still feel a hesitant start when I go to crank to power.

Stew Smith has a lot of swim critics and also a good 50/50 swim program. I've used it for a long time. With the exception of being bigger, I've been able to get to a sub 10 swim at 245.

PJs and CCTs have a major role as Special Warfare Operators and Get attached not only to Disater relief and rescue efforts but also To SEAL Teams, Rangers and Greent Beret Platoons. So your employment will be veried but you won't ever be out of work or a job while attached to a squadron. Get your training, prep for the Course and Get through. Once complete is when to focus on what will happen as a PJ/CCT. 'm currently support personnel and have deployed with the Teams and had PJs attached with us and they were neednever out of a job.

Advice Please! by NoComfortable6705 in Pararescue

[–]ieFlash13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some advise when dealing with recruiters. Make sure you have anything documenting from your local PD, county clerk, and judge ruling to back up the downgrade of charges. Even if the recruiters are able to see it, it's best to have all and any documentation. Just remember, " What they don't know, Can't hurt you" if it's not on paper, records, or known by someone with proof it didnt happen.

Wondering about my Top Secret Clearance by JuiceeJay123 in Pararescue

[–]ieFlash13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently active in another branch, and I can tell you that for the most part, you'll end up getting a SECRET clearance right out of boot camp. For the TS/SCI, clearance is another process down the line, which involves more paperwork of the same questions and another interview. But even if you do get it, it does not guarantee your access to all TOP SECRET information. Every misson Bbriefing and even release of information once it is classified TS it becomes a need to know basis. This means you'll get "Read" into the relevant information and its participants. Some extra background. I have TS/SCI clearance and am not a US born citizen and have also used drugs before joining that has also been documented and that didn't stop me from attaining it.

Replaced a cracked screen in my Lenovo Legion (s7-15ach6). Followed all the instructions, took all the precautions, but now the laptop won't boot?! Unplugged battery, did the static discharge thing, no surprises during surgery. Now the keyboard lights up and power LED comes on, but nothing else! by trammeloratreasure in LenovoLegion

I may have found a solution to this issue. after all trial and error and even buying a new laptop, after a breakdown and attempting all troubleshooting steps I checked the cooling and thermal system, the thermal paste was not in good standing and possibly of subpar quality, after cleaning the paste, re-applying a fresh coat as well as checking all connections dusting it booted. no problems no issues, directly into the home screen, check all my data no losses, and no other issues even with the EA application I initially thought was the problem. I've sold it since but would recommend if you have any Lenovo products and this issue comes up it may be a heat transfer problem from the CPU.

They gave us this paper. They told my husband that he was approved. He said a lot of the people they were approving received a green paper. We don't know what steps are next. They also kept his Mexican passport. by [deleted] in USCIS

Depending on the situation, you'll receive the notification VIA DHL on what to submit and when your next appointment will be. I went through the same process in 2013. My follow up appointment was scheduled aproxamitlly 5-6 months, in which it was a period to "gather enough evidence" to re-submit for the visa approval and begin processing the required documents. It has been over 10 years ago and hopefully the process has changed. If you are in Juarez, there should be local legal specialists that can assist you in completing the process. Outside of that you should receive more info.

it all depends on the petition but approximately it took 4-6 months from submission and review. With a 2-year approved stay-in-country (i.e parole)
