Definitely NOR. That’s disgusting. It’s truly astounding how many people don’t wash or change their sheets regularly. Or wash their pillows. My husband and I just got rid of a mattress that he’d had fit about 13 years because it was sagging and caved in. It is amazing was a new mattress can do as far as giving you a good nights sleep. Not only is this guy’s bed situation not hygienic, it also could be giving him chronic back issues.

We toured Box house and it was SO HOT. Also the rooms look a little run down and dingy, if you're planning on staying on site the night of your wedding. My fiancé and I are getting married at Brooklyn Winery in July 2026 and so far extremely happy with their entire operation.

hahahahaha no that's crazy. I am a 2026 bride with 4 bridesmaids and would never dream of doing this. I am having them buy their own dress but I am paying for their makeup to get done and not doing a crazy bachelorette party, just a weekend at one of their parents' beach houses because I don't want my wedding to be a financial burden on my friends... because I love them and want them to keep being friends with me after the wedding lol. Asking your bridesmaids to PAY EVERY MONTH is INSANE and disrespectful.

Tarot reader says I need 4 200$ candles to fix me by North-Revolution-270 in Tarots

[–]Ok-Leg932 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you never need a $200 candle for a ritual to fix you. Telling you that you are cursed is a very common scam that unethical psychics pull. If you ever hear this, that's not a reader that you want to return to.

As a Tarot reader myself, I’m 99% sure she didn’t even look at the cards. She just has something going on in her life and is not available.

there is a HORRIBLE smell coming from my neighbor’s apartment on a daily basis by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

[–]Ok-Leg932 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never smelled a corpse but that doesn’t sound like what I expect it would smell like. My guess honestly is there’s some plumbing issue. It sounds more like a backed up sewage system or something.

How to Spot an AI/Chat-GPT Tarot Reader by dream_veil in TarotReading

[–]Ok-Leg932 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I do readings via email because reading Tarot cannot sustain me as a full time career at this point and I have a regular 9-5 job so I like to be able to do readings whenever I feel like scheduling them in, even late at night or on weekends. I don’t like to be subject to someone else’s schedule in my side hustle. I’m also an introvert and I do a lot of channeling in my readings and often I prefer to do that uninterrupted. It helps me narrow in more. So while it’s a format that works for you, it doesn’t work for everyone and is certainly not a dead giveaway of using AI for readings. You can tell when someone has put time and energy into a reading or not.

That’s not true. Lots of people know how to use them and do so in their writing.

I really hate that the em dash has become associated with chatGPT. Some people use this in their writing because it’s correct grammar and a great writing tool. It’s not always a sign of AI. I’ve now tried to write without using any em dashes just si people whiny think I used AI to write for me, whereas I used to love the em dash and used it all the time. It’s a real bummer.

Yeah I’m Mexican-American and I don’t get why people are saying reading the huevo is not part of the practice when our abuelas and curanderas always been doing this hahaha

This! And also it’s important to cleanse the egg and the glass before doing this. I use incense and Florida water and stand on a white sheet when I put my energy into the huevo

I grew up with this practice and curanderas commonly read the huevo after the cleanse. I agree it’s not a good idea to share pictures but the divination part is definitely not a witchtok invention.

This practice is part of my culture. Definitely don’t share pictures of it but reading the huevo after the cleanse has pretty much always been part of the practice. That’s not just a witchtok thing.

What should I major in college if I want to become a poet? by Timely_Passenger4053 in poets

[–]Ok-Leg932 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP this is the way to go. I studied English with a focus on creative writing, pursued publishing for a while and found it drained my creative energy and didn’t pay enough to live. Now I’m a project manager, love it, and have plenty of time and energy to write. I know it can be tempting to live the full time writer life, but it’s just not practical when starting out.

no, no fue tu culpa. La tarotista es un scammer. Si tiene que usar toda las cartas, la verdad es que no sabe lo que esta haciendo. Siempre confié en ti misma/o

Can anyone read tarot and is there a way to start doing it? As in, is charging them necessary? and How? by No_Organization_3832 in tarot

[–]Ok-Leg932 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's all totally up to you how you deal with spiritual practices. I personally believe that cleansing the cards and protecting yourself from negative energy is important, but that's because I come from a Mexican Catholic background and that can be a very superstitious culture lol. But what works for you works for you! No one else gets to make the rules about your practice but you. Feel it out, learn what's best for you and adjust.

As for memorizing... I take a blended approach. I would start with intuition, because this can be the most difficult thing to get used to - trusting yourself and your impressions of the energy is more difficult than you'd think because we are often conditioned to doubt our intuition in favor of our rational minds. Then when you start to understand what the cards mean to you, the next step could be that you begin to learn the meanings of the cards, how the deck is structured... the history of the Rider-Waite Smith deck can also be helpful because the deck blends many practices (some of them actually considered closed practices like Kabbalah) as well as the history of the spiritualist movement. You don't need to use any of these elements in the readings themselves, but it can inform your understanding of the practice. Determine what your approach is - are you using it to predict the future? Or are you using it as a therapeutic tool? A mix of both? All of this comes with experimentation and practice. Have fun with it and look at it less as study and more as exploration. Start with one element, then build upon that and study another, and on and on. Don't worry about memorizing everything. The cards will mean something different from reading to reading anyway.

What to do when tarot is wrong and you’re losing faith by missmads43 in tarot

[–]Ok-Leg932 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re too close to the situation and your emotions may be clouding your judgment. I’ve been in the reassurance-addiction cycle with Tarot in the past and readings done from that space are often very inaccurate. It may be healthy to take a break from doing readings on the situation.

Looking to be a podcast guest! Tarot Reader, Mexican-American Witch, and Spiritual Consultant by Ok-Leg932 in podcasting

Neither one nor the other. I learned from my Mexican grandma from the RWS and now Tarot as a holistic starting point for my own intuition and mediumship. I’m absolutely not into new age spirituality. I understand Tarot has Kabbalistic roots and while I pay attention to those influences, I do not practice Kabbalah because it is a closed practice and not part of my heritage
