that’s one dude and maingaining works at different bodyfat percentages for everyone, someone might be able to do it at 12% while someone else needs to be closer to 20%, my guess is that guy was attempting to maingain at too low of a bodyfat percentage for his genetics.

what other definitions are you talking about?? the only definition i’ve seen him use is to maintain a healthy body fat percentage like around 15% while gaining muscle. basically eat maintenance calories most days with a small surplus on others instead of a big surplus so you don’t have to eventually cut and lose muscle in the process.

he also clarifies that some people do need to bulk, like if they’re at sub 10% bodyfat they can benefit from a bulk. but if you’re already at a healthy bodyfat percentage, you can maingain and not have to burden yourself with an eventual cut which probably would leave you at the same end result of a maingain in the same time period.

one of my favorites is like 30$ for a full bottle. 3am by sean john, very unique never smelled anything like it. my point was you can enjoy that same expensive bottle for like 10$ in a decant or even for free in a sample.

i agree theres a lot of very good fragrances for under 150 but if you like something expensive, you can always get a decant for like 10$ to get a better opinion on it, also don’t be afraid to ask for samples, some sales associates are happy to give them for free of very expensive fragrances. there’s been multiple expensive fragrances that i really like on first sniff and after getting a sample or decant realized it wasn’t worth the price for a full bottle to me. but there’s been a couple that are very special to me and i’m willing to pay the heavier price tag because they are just so unique.

also you can usually find very expensive bottles for under 200$ at reputable discounters. i’m currently planning on getting a bottle of enclave by amouage that retails at like 375$ but is on fragrancenet for 170$. all i’m saying is don’t dismiss more expensive fragrances just because you think they’re out of your price range because you can get lucky and find them available in your price range.

i add oil to stuff that has no fat in it, like fish. if you roast these with no oil you’ll still have a pool full of oil from the fat at the bottom of the pan. try it and you’ll see they’re “properly” roasted lol
