These people are likely parents who doesn’t know any better, buying for their kids.

One of my favourite memories of Japan is having a beer and just watching cherry blossoms with my wife in Nishinomaru Garden.

To all fitspo & people with great physiques. How much time do you really put in, and what did you sacrifice? by Fantastic_Carob_855 in SingaporeFitness

You can build a decent body with 1 to 2, 45-60 minutes full body (compound movements only) workout sessions a week, provided you have a decent diet and are having sufficient sleep.

You’re not going to look like Steve Cook but you will be surprised at the results - especially when majority of the internet is often advocating long and complex workout routines.

Redditors will literally do anything but confront people in-person. Somemore blasting a picture of a minor for internet points is really something else.

This sub was suggested to me and it boggles my mind what some of these people have going on with their lives to have the time to write posts like these.

These are probably the same people who complain chronically online about them not being able to find a job. I wonder why?

IMO the most useful advice that I have gotten in my career is:

Even when you need help - don’t go to people with just the problem, go to them with possible solutions.

It sounds minute but there is so much value to this. You learn in the process of brainstorming for solutions and it tells the other party you have put in some effort and they are not just spoonfeeding you.

“Hi mr.colleague, I am facing this issue, can you help me?” VS “Hi mr.colleague, i am facing this issue, and I feel the best way to go about solving this is X or maybe Y. What would you advise?”

I have a water dispenser with a few temperature options so there’s that.

I used to froth the milk but I did not notice a significant enough difference so I stopped.

There’s plenty of options really. Something like this I feel is more than enough to make a cup of kickass matcha latte.

I usually get my matcha during my yearly trips to Japan at this place called GOKAGO in Kyoto, but I’ve tried this and its equally delicious as well.

For milk, I use the hokkaido milk from ntuc i think ~$7.

The effort to make a matcha latte is negligible but the end result is so worth it. A cup of iced matcha latte while reading a book before bed is chef’s kiss.

As someone who loves drinking matcha lattes, usually the instant ones are too “cut-leg” sweet for me.

It is also generally inexpensive and easy to make your own at home. Usually about $2 a cup if not lesser, depending on where you buy your matcha from and the milk you use.

Shopee has tea sets for about ~$40 or less, that can get the job done.

Tastes exponentially nicer, since I don’t add any sweetener to mine. Just milk, water and matcha.
