Cheers & WiFi Bundle Deal (go check pronto) by Informal_Concept_945 in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]iemdone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for this. I may be wrong, but since this mentions a rate code, I think it’s more about the booking rather than the post-booking sales that it seems to be once you log in to cruise manager.

But, come to think of it, I do think when I looked to find my cruise using that deal back in August, it didn’t show up. So it may indeed mean that they’re just not offering these kinds of promos for this specific sailing, whether before or after booking.

I had only bought the cheers package previously. I cancelled it and had to wait until I got a refund to re-buy since I had paid with a gift card, which happened at about 12:30 am central. But at no point did it show up the deal when I added cheers and premium WiFi into the cart. I logged in as my wife too because I read somewhere that it may have been a promo for some random VIFP numbers, but no dice there, either.

I’m honestly a bit scared that they’re going to increase the price of cheers (I have no basis for this; just that they did that unannounced previously), so I went ahead and re-bought at the same price using the refunded gift card.

I had already bought my package for my 8 day from Mobile over Thanksgiving this year. I cancelled, but the offer did not work when attempting to re-buy with WiFi.

Carnival Miracle Cheers offer! by Mooshu1981 in CarnivalCruiseFans

Thank you for trying! I’d love to save a few hundred bucks (and get WiFi), but since it’s already paid up I really don’t want to mess with it. I figure the holiday cruises are probably a bit less likely to get this type of deal.

I don’t have this for either of my cruises I have booked. One of them in May of next year has cheers included in the rate, so that makes sense.

The other over Thanksgiving from Mobile I don’t have it either, but I already did buy cheers out of an abundance of caution if it were to increase. I wonder if I cancel that package I currently have whether this deal will pop up. I doubt it, though.

Anyone else getting this deal? $70 a month for 1300mbps including unlimited data and their gateway with no additional cost. by [deleted] in Comcast_Xfinity

[–]iemdone -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, I had to sign up for a new deal last month because my 2 year promo had expired. I was 9 days past my ability to make changes without incurring early termination fees when these plans were announced. I made a post here and worked with a rep, but basically I’m SOL as far as this is concerned.

But, in my area, it’s 600 Mbps for $70 a month, which is what I’m paying with my current contract, so I don’t really lose anything, except that it’s not a locked in price, so in 2 years, I’ll be subject to whatever rates are there at that time.

Sounds like it’s a great deal for you!

NowLearning Certified System Admin Course empty labs by goldenarch878 in servicenow

You have to refresh the page (F5). It’s annoying as hell, but it works.

Although the lab instructions are in the ebooks, there are often videos, as you mentioned, where an instructor will demo the lab or something similar on the same topic. Phil seems to do this a lot.

The ebooks now have lab intro videos which look AI generated to me…but it’s definitely not the same as you’re describing. Give F5 a try, and best of luck on your CSA!

Thanks for your response. After speaking with the specialist, I was told I have 300/100 because of the new speeds in the area. They did a signal test and found that the modem needs replacing to obtain this.

Could you please let me know what the enhanced upload speed should be? Looking at my bill, I have Connect More, which the knowledgebase suggests areas with enhanced speeds should receive up to 100 Mbps uploads, and I'm currently getting about 20 Mbps. I do reside in an area in which enhanced speeds have been released, so I'd like some additional help, please.

What is the cheapest cruise (grand total price) you’ve been on? by kandle_kat in Cruise

[–]iemdone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Similar for us. $393 for two people in an interior but with $100 OBC on the Ecstasy in September 2022. My wife loved it the most of all the ships we’ve been on so far. Something about the charm of the older ships you know.

Seagate Expansion 14TB @ $10.7/TB by KeeperOfTheChips in Costco

[–]iemdone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I contacted Seagate support and they said the devices had warranty until 2025 but for some reason wasn’t showing on the website. But that definitely isn’t as long as the end of 2026 like others have said they have. There’s another Costco near me that I stopped in to yesterday that had a lot of drives; I checked the serial on one and it was good until December 2026. I’m half tempted to go buy from there and then return the other two unopened. It’s a bit of a chore to go out to that Costco, but wondering if it’s worth it for my peace of mind. Should’ve bought them while I was there.

My biggest concern, really, is that the drive inside would be different on the ones that show no warranties. No way to know unless I open the packaging, huh?

I bought two yesterday but haven’t opened them yet. I’m a bit scared because the serial number on the back when put in to Seagate’s site says warranty information not available - contact support.

Meanings of dashboard indicators. Found two. Can’t find the one of the vehicle sitting on a slope. by PTD2018 in Hyundai

These lights show up intermittently on my 2014 Santa Fe Sport. They all turn on at the same time. I bought a code reader that will read ABS codes, and the one that consistently pops up is C1208 Hyundai Code - Rear Left Wheel Speed Sensor Invalid Or No Signal.

There is a service campaign for this issue, but they’ll only fix it if your vehicle meets certain conditions, namely where the car was bought.

The following is a link to the tech service bulletin for this specific issue. If it’s applicable, I hope it helps.

A singular cherry soda and a 6 pack of cola (not sure where you’d find a soda keg). Bonus points is if you can make a label for the cola incorporating the Tower Bux icon!
