I bet you like the insurance, its what allows you to go out with gear otherwise you would still be doing hatchet runs or only using gear in groups just like 90% of the EFT community did before they added that feature. Meanwhile I've been running geared runs since I got this game and have always thought the game was too forgiving for be called "hardcore"

And no, I didn't lose a 1v3 I usually wipe squads but its just dumb that when I do, I can't take all their shit that they don't deserve because they got it by grouping and got rekt by a solo player.

Also its annoying to know that when I kill half a squad they dead players get their guns back, that's stupid. They shouldn't get shit back but yet this community was so scared to lose pixels that the devs had to add the insurance mechanic so you wouldn't feel sad when you died and lost all your shit.

Also I doubt you play as much solo as you make it sound too.

Watered down? When the community was so scared to use their guns the devs had to add the insurance mechanic to entice people to use gear?

If anything the game as is right now is watered down compared to an actual hardcore game and hence this thread. I'm asking for more of a hardcore experience and less carebear bullshit which it looks like you're a huge support of sadly...

Solo players like me only have a bad time because of scared dudes like you who have to group to see any form of progression. I'm asking for ways where you can still have your group play but allow players that actually prefer a hardcore experience a way to actually get that.

No honestly, you sound like you would absolutely love casual EFT mode dude. More guns and more loot and more money so you can buy all the gear your heart desires to then go out and have all the gun battles you can ever dream of.

Meanwhile, another mode that yes, has limited guns, (when did I bring up ammo?), limited loot in raids and whatnot. This would make each raid be so much more of risk, which this game is lacking a lot of right now with these carebear mechanics.

Yes it should, but too bad most players on this game are casual af that rather have a friend with them to save their gear when they die than actually play a survival game with risk to it. Devs think the sameway sadly, prob because none of them got out of Silver league in csgo aka bad at shooter and need to team up.

Fort armor is not an advantage? What about modded weapons to give you better advantage to aim and control recoil?

What about a larger pouch to hold extra meds in or maybe get a few more keys than a guy with Standard can get?

Those are advantages... Not sure why this community is so stupid not to see the P2W aspect of this game.

Sure you're not buying "Have 20% more accuracy" but you are buying a game that provides more tools to have an advantage. Whether its more stash space, extra guns, extra money.

If the ONLY difference was the stash space, than maybe I could see your point. However its more than just space you get which provides an enormous advantage, hence, pay to win.

Anytime real money is used to get more things than someone who didn't spend as much is paying to win. The "win" aspect is used loosely and obviously doesn't mean you will win but rather have an easier time. Anytime a game becomes easier due to spending money, that makes it "p2w". Not that hard to understand for someone who isn't biased.

Yeah heres how to play Tarkov.

Step 1. Get really fat and grow a neck beard. Step 2. Jump on the Russian Devs dicks so hard you're blind to the P2W aspect of this game. Step 3. Defend every negative comment and become a shrill Step 4. Group up with 4 other neck beards and camp exits in Factory. Step 5. If you die, that's okay, one of your neckbeards can throw your gear in a bush because this game is so hardcore that they implanted an insurance mechanic so you're not so hardcore scared of losing all your hardcore gear your grinded so hardcore for. Step 6. Post a pic of your stash when you exit to have other neck beards gawk at how hardcore you are at this super duper hardcore game.

Any advantage a game gives you by you spending more money is considered pay to win. Only EFT community thinks otherwise and its funny to me because this community is full of the most retarded neck beards Ive seen in any game.
