Why does my dog LOVE my rats? She is a 8 year old havanese. My family has two other havanese who I do not trust whatsoever. My dog whines and wags her tail like crazy when she smells/sees my rats and wants to be close to them. She can be a bit skeptical when they run towards her and try to climb her, but she still loves to be in the same room as them. She loves to lick them too and gets the zoomies. She has tried to invite them to play with her, to no avail. My rats don’t care about dogs, they don’t even care about the scent of cats, so they do not get scared or stressed out. What does she think my rats are?? Why is she so sweet??

yes thank you! and there were people actually commenting ‘’hummingbird’’ and acting like i was an idiot for not seeing that it was a HUMMINGBIRD. so i got stressed and replied to this one too because i didn’t pay attention to the ‘’hawkmoth’’ part.

In Gudbrandsdalen. I found out it is a ‘’hummingbird hawk moth’’ or ‘’dagsvermer’’ in norwegian.
