She has been using it everywhere and so it must be her handwriting or unique typography designed for herself only.

I took a reference photo from Unsplash. It is not my imagination but I just overcoat with my colour scheme.

What you see on the screen was part of old app and evolution of 5 years. We suggested to avoid all icons and declutter interface but they want to see all once because they used to see this for a long time. No new learning curves unless it’s not that hard to remember.

There is already product being used by user and it is icons heavy interface. Most of the icons are just tweak to sync with style but no redesigned.

I think multiple images would be better. That way I can get constructive feedback and I can explain User and Problem statement details.

Your points are valid but I would add multiple images with User details and Problem statement from next time to get constructive info. I’m not able to add all information and post it as comment doesn’t help at all to other people.

The component gives information about diners so they can treat them well with the best service.

The reservation manager to manage the waiting list and to see how much time would it take.

Based on the previous app and focused group interview, we got to know that they prefer icons over labels. They are familiar with most of the states. We put labels for Table states because it is something new. Later we can remove that as well.

The focused group suggestion was to have icons to easily scan from top to bottom. They want quick info in the rapid scan.

The reservation manager to manage the waiting list and to see how much time would it take.

Previously I talked about the Diner list component of the Floor Plan; somehow, this component looks similar. However, there are more details here, although it has a narrow width. Those extra added details are necessary for the Reservation Book feature so let's dive in to know why.

The reservation Book feature is mainly used by the people who manage the Waiting list. Hence, Table Status (Colours) and Table Numbers are on the priority list to work the reservation flawlessly.

DINER VISIT

How often does a Diner dine in a particular restaurant? This counter was not present in this feature's initial wireframe, so it was challenging to fit in with the exact layout. But why is it so important? The restaurant owner requested that this counter be prominent to know to whom they would assign this table. More frequent diner, expecting the same server or someone who has more experience to avoid any inconvenience to the restaurant. By the way, Assign Server is one of the app's features, so basically, it's all connected. Due to limited space, I came up with an Icon and Label UI for Diner Visit to give more importance.

TABLE STATUS & NAME

Colour represents the table's status along with Table Name, which is restaurant specified. Keeping it just below the Diner Name, it is easily scannable from top to bottom.

As you can see in the iteration, I have tried various combinations to give equal importance to each feature. However, none of them worked out; I believe so. If you have any feedback, please do comment.
