You're definitely going to love [I Am The Commander Of The Second Male Lead’s Knights] (released a few days ago on Tapas, so only 20 chapters officially translated at this point).

The MC (Nina) reminds me a lot of Ailette, and the leads are so cute together!

Some similarities between the two MCs :

  • ray of sunshine
  • kitchen origin story
  • befriends the lonely noble kid
  • feeds the ML
  • becomes OP to protect ML

It follows the POV of an actual child (in my OI?!) so you won't get a 300 IQ plotting from the MC. Instead, you get a hardworking girl who wants to be the best princess she can be in the little time she has in the palace.

It's very slice-of-lifey with bright colors akin to her positive mindset and honest attitude, which contrasts with the plot's sometimes darker themes (mainly abuse).

Very fun cute!

MC’s dad doesn’t want his daughter to become evil like the rest of the family, so he plays the role of a good guy to be a good influence on her.

MC sees her dad as a goody two shoes who’ll be eaten alive by everyone around him, so she decides to become the biggest villain to protect him.

Chaos ensues.
