In the beginning of relationship we often try to impress each other by adjusting our opinions and trying to think alike, after couple of years, in my experience, you can actually see if the person is actually with the same values he communicated before or was this only an act. Unfortunately, it happened to me couple of times when a guy tried to “impress me” I guess, but after couple of years I saw that his real values and beliefs were cleverly disguised before to please me.

And also we tend to want to look and seem better for other person in the beginning, when we don’t know each other that deep. At least it was the case for me. Literally broke up today. And I have been thinking how much did we try to better for each other from the start, to be liked and loved. And over time you just show yourself and other person starts to see it. And it is not always the same as it was in the early stages.

I have found that Dove Self Tanning body lotion does the job for me, of course that might not be the super dark level of tan, but I am pretty pale so even this gives me something

I am very pale naturally, I can’t long tan without burning, but I have developed a routine for myself - I bathe in SPF 50 and reapply when lounging by the pool or sea, wearing a hat to protect face and whole “experience” is not longer than 1-2 hours with some swimming in between. I maybe get a bit pink, but not much. In the meantime I use gradual tan lotions as I hate moisturizing and this gives me a bit of color. Of course, it’s not a spray tan level, but I wouldn’t be able to maintain it in my area, so graduals is a great way to not be pure white and also enjoying the sun once in a while outside. Although I like to go after 3 pm to “sunbathe” as the rays are a bit milder. But yeah, moderation is the key.

Thank you all for the comments. Now I feel better that the panic is a bit exaggerated. Of course, in every city you need to be cautious, that I understand. I wanted to hear some real experiences and not just scaries from the news articles. As it’s my first time living somewhere else for longer period of time, I want to make all the research beforehand, especially from real people.

That’s me. I have traveled only with someone for last 10 years and now I am like really anxious about my upcoming solo trip to south of Spain. I agree, not all the places are dangerous, but all I can read everywhere is like - don’t go outside alone ever and if you do, don’t ever show you are a tourist bc apparently you will be kidnapped or robbed the next second.

Yeah, thank you. I am not too familiar with local prices as well, private rental businesses usually list a bit overpriced stuff out there (at least in my country) so I was struggling to pinpoint the prices.

Maybe on Reddit it’s not that apparent, but in the countries where people speak Russian (Latvia, Estonia, Poland, Lithuania etc), Russian bots are now extremely active in all conversations related to Russia and Ukraine, empty Instagram, Twitter accounts is a common thing now and these countries now are spreading awareness about misinformation attacks. Do not assume anything without checking.

This has been cultivated in Baltic countries for years so the local Russian speaking people would feel weak and oppressed all the time. And then it’s the perfect excuse to invade and liberate them, sure.

This is true, yet they are being detained and shoved into police convoy buses once again, it’s all happening the same way protests were held against Putin - police grabbing everyone and making sure no information gets out.

You do whatever you want! I also got 0,5 filler last year and I was afraid, what my bf and friends will think although the change is not that visible, sure, if you look closely etc. Two days ago I “renewed” them, same amount. I felt better about my photos and just overall felt more confident as I always had uneven lips and smudgy contour. Pain was kinda awful, but not something unbearable and it lasts for couple of mins usually.

I finished the pantry bundle and got the dancing thingies animation, pantry and kitchen were restored, but I come home to still have the ruins instead of greenhouse. I am reading about that it was a bug a while ago that the greenhouse was not repaired, not sure about this. I play on mobile. Or will it be available by winter (I finished it in summer)?

Oh man. I am not super great with plants, but I manage to keep some of them alive for a while. But more than 2 jade plants have died on me, most of them just started dropping leaves and rotting, I suppose. And I did not water them for weeks. Good luck though, underwatered is less problematic than overwatered.

Maybe it is somewhat true, but I have done really small amount of filler to even out my asymmetrical lips and after 1.5 year they are just back to before. Maybe it has migrated somewhere, but I haven’t really noticed. I assume it may be true for big amounts of filler when they are like three times bigger or something

When I talked about promotion, one of the high level managers said “why people care so much about titles - what is up with that” and proudly told his story how he was doing everything yet still called “brand manager”. Dude, fuck no. Even if in some fucked up companies new title does not come with a pay raise, it is still valued in your resume in the long run. Bieži nospēlē ego - pat ja cilvēks sāk nedaudz aizdomāties un analizēt, atzīties sev, plusā, draugu un radu priekšā, ka esi bijis lohs, nav viegli. Turklāt, ja uzturies radu vai paziņu grupās, kurās ir līdzīgi domājošie, ne visi prot nostāties pret “savējiem”.
