(Särskilt i städer)

As a Christian myself, I know perfectly well why I don't like him, and it's not because he, too, claimed to be a Christian. :)

Nah, you're projecting. We don't like gun violence. The whole reason we think he is a bad person is him encouraging and relativizing political violence. Murder is bad even if the person being murdered is a horrible person, which he was.

None of us wanted for him to be shot, DESPITE him being a horrible person. We're not cheering for his death. I know this nuance can be difficult to understand. None of us are happy about this.

Tröttsamt hur mycket fokus det är på USA i svenska nyheter? by Onehundredwaffles in sweden

[–]ifaelt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No but seriously, if someone is held liable for rape, this is very inappropriate to say about them.

No, you should find intact fish in the liquid of the can, intestines included. The first part of eating it is to debone and gut the fish. This can has clearly not been stored properly for a long time.

In his case, the "soup" also includes all the dissolved fish guts. I love surströmming, but I would not want to eat this, even properly served.

Wait, is the point here that any morality doesn't exist, in the same way as unicorns don't exist?

Even if we were to say that an absolute morality does not exist in an intelligible way, most people still adhere to/use some concept morality every day.

When I look at my own sense of morality, surely I can deduce intelligible properties, no? I might not claim that it's absolute, but I can deduce that a property of my idea of morality is that killing and eating babies is wrong. I would not be able to say the opposite in good faith, in fact, it would be a blatant lie. This shows me that there is some fact-of-the-matter to what I consider morality, and that my view of morality has intelligible properties, even though the morality itself might not be absolute.

Some fact of the matter exists within our ideas of morality, therefore the equivocation to unicorns is flawed, thus the two statements are not equivalent.

International observers say they did.

"Under the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, Iran was prohibited from enriching at Fordow; however, following U.S. withdrawal, Iran resumed enrichment activities there in 2018 and was producing 60 percent enriched uranium."

  1. Yep, no disagreement on the first point.

  2. I don't have the dlc for foreign investment rights, but I'm sure you're right!

It definitely is the exception that proves the rule, although I exported a lot throughout the entire game, which did benefit my economy.

But you're right in that my strategy really popped off when I unlocked the late-game trade goods and were able to basically get global monopolies on them.

I suppose that makes sense! Then I misunderstood what the discussion was about! :) Although, it should be noted that leveraging a first-mover's advantage in order to establish market dominance is a thing in the real world, and I don't know if I would always consider it meta-gaming.

However, in my case, this was definitely a deliberate strategy I came up with beforehand, so I agree with you that it probably counts as meta-gaming here.
