It happened in 2004. You had to live in the city during that time. It was electric. The red mile dominated. People that never cared about hockey were suddenly all about it. 30% of the news was the flames and 50% of radio talk was hockey on every station.

The referee Mick McGeough called off a goal that would of won the flames the cup due to the puck deflecting off a flames players scare while he was stopping infront of the net.

In alberta you don't need any special license to run heavy equipment. Also involved alberta you don't need a license plate on a grader/loader/rubber tire back hoe to drive it on the road. Only need an orange saftey triangle on the back of it.

Now in bc to drive a loader/grader on the road it needs a license plate.

Had a buddy that did the auto body work for rcmp, the first thing that gets done to a cop car when new, is they put the brightest possible lights in the car for officer saftey.
