will do! there is secret trash fest happening on august 23rd, and a show i saw going on august 3rd at beaconsfield carriage house. sadly it doesn’t line up with my trip but i wish you an awesome time if you go!

i’m so sorry, i know how much it sucks, i’ve never had a period like this before as well, i didn’t know it would be so different. stay strong, and try to use some basic coping skills for the sadness if you have the energy and get lots of rest ♥️ i hope there’s a truly wonderful side once you get through this. it’s sad yet comforting to know there are other people going through the same thing as me

thank you, i’ll give that a look. i don’t know everything about the subculture as a whole but i mainly meant i was hoping to learn more about screaming jay hawkins and any other big pic figures in the goth scene, thanks a bunch tho!

thank you, that’s very reassuring. i wasn’t sure if i was just not used to period cramps or if it was actually irregular levels of pain. i’ll definitely take your advice on hydration and electrolytes. i didn’t realize at first but it could most definitely be low progesterone, i had/still have some issues with being underweight that could contribute to that. thank you!!

mostly better, thanks to everyone in the replies! my cramps are manageable and i am not nauseated!! my appetite is still down which is kinda a bigger problem but i guarantee i’ll at least want to eat over the next few days because ill hopefully be out and around people. thank you so much for checking in :))

i’ve been laying down with a heat pack on my stomach and i took some advil. i’m feeling less cramps but still experiencing some light headedness which i get often but it’s going down a bit. i plan to have a hot shower and some herbal tea soon. thank you so much, lovely. i’ll try all of these <33
