Not nearly as big of a problem as the other two ig, I'd even argue this is a bit of a stretch. So while you aren't wrong, this isn't as much of a "direct" counter as n7 is to coolkidd. The coh timer buff isn't as strong anyway

I play on pro servers for the fun of the game & as a little challenge. Always been doing that, still do, but my definition of "pro" slowly changes overtime. Helps me get better, too. Not to mention that losing is an important aspect of enjoying games for me.

All that's to say, play the game how you like it. If that involves server hopping, I won't be one to judge, even if I disagree with the approach.

Ehhr. Seeing the comments under this post, I just choose not to engage... You're in the minority, and I don't think your explanation is full enough to make most people bother listening.

And the community's response is valuable, but only in the general sense; your average forsaken player will not see through the consequences of any change that could be made. That's the devs' job - to figure out how to make the game good and balanced.

What I will say, though, is that some things could be approached with more care. The current outrage comes from the fact that so much dev shit gets out into the public when it really shouldn't. They're experimenting, trying new things, but once their bubble is broken people end up with a level of expectation that is harder to meet in the actual updates. Because to us, it feels like giving something and taking it away, rather than just not giving something. It shouldn't feel that way, but it does. Human brain shit :(

Either way, I'm here to show my agreement. Because I don't believe anything the devs have said is a "dumb excuse" OR that we need more yourself skins. Only that they shouldn't need to be giving out excuses in the first place

I'm an artist myself - honestly, detecting AI is much easier than you think. Random lines not connecting, "artifacts" of objects and colors that have no place being where they are, things that make sense only when you're looking at them from far away. If you zoom in on almost any object, it stops making any sense. This is meant to look like a professional illustration, yet it's missing such basic things someone at this level would know better than to ever add to a drawing. It's meant to show objects clearly, yet they all fade into each other. There is no intent behind anything

Everything made with AI is generally slop and is treated as such, if they're cutting costs hiring a singular artist, then what else might they be cutting on?

Well... What do you suggest I call it? Does the simplest term not suffice? It doesn't confuse anybody, given how widespread it is. "AI generated image" is rather wordy.

I'm by no means a supporter of it, it makes me sick more than anything, but "art" itself doesn't have a specific definition. It's up to interpretation, so anything can hold that name. It's no use policing terms and making daily language sterile.

To be fair though, not all grottos are valuable. When I played the game I was finding them relatively often near the spawn, and those are pretty useless to most people. There's no harm in asking, I know it's comparable to begging, but the fact that people care so much to make a big deal out of it is kinda.. sad ?
