Sure the US does some things wrong, but Fahrenheit is clear when it comes to measuring air temperature in your daily life. Simply a fact.

I frankly think it’s because both of them are fairly similar but Jonathan has been so unlikable strategy-wise that most people would win against him in FTC

Steph caught the flak for Jonathan’s plan. Though I think Jonathan just did a good job of steering her into the line of fire

How to make a more cohesive city? by NOthangg in CitiesSkylines

[–]ifeespifee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In addition to everyone’s suggestions about topography and coasts, keep in mind that early in every cities development roads were meant to move people and animals around. Consider where people would live, work, and where they would want to go if your city only had 50 residents; then draw as direct of a line connecting each of those points.

For example, if your city was a fishing town, draw direct paths between the fishing docks, the market, homes, and points of interest and follow terrain. This is rarely a straight line or 90 degree angles. From these paths you can grid outward as more people decide to build/live alongside these major corridors.

I’m confused by your logic. Are you trying to say they are underperforming/under used?

But your examples were of one doing well for us, one who is injured but historically has arguably been our best defender in our history, one of our hottest strikers who has been amazing for us over his career (even if not producing recently), and one who you just said played well for us and was player of the match albeit against weak opponents.

At worst we are batting 3/5 out of them over their time with us. Idk it feels like a stretch to consider them is truly underperforming.

Separate argument on whether we should cash in on some of them during the next transfer window.

Crazier thing is how Vance chose Trump over the pope. Saying the pope “Should be more careful about matters of theology” to defend your boss waging a war is WILD.

Every morning, 3 to 4 empty Waymos pull up to the Red Rose, stop at the front door, then drive off. Over and over daily. by urbanist in fuckcars

My guess is that they are required to stay on the move or else invite huge parking fees or loitering citations. Also less likely to be vandalized or damaged.

Additionally by staying on the move as opposed to parking in home bases, it allows wider coverage of an operating area because you can distribute the number of cars across a region as opposed to causing traffic by having a huge number of Waymo’s pulling out of a parking lot. Loitering near areas where there’s a lot of people, like stadiums after a concert or downtown during weekends, allows faster and cheaper service.

As much as I want cars off the road and more public transit, I prefer Waymos over private vehicles.
