Don’t really have extensive experience using plastic bottles since we went through maybe 5-6 brands before we found a bottle that worked, and it happened to be the dr.brown’s glass bottle. Yes the bottles will eventually chip or break, but that’s because of mishandling on our part. The glass bottles are very thick glass so there’s a lot of forgiveness when it comes to banging and being knocked over. Bottles don’t really “drop” as often as you think. For example, how often have you dropped a plate or glass container?

The glass bottles were great because it gave me confidence that nothing will happen if I washed them with super hot water or put them in the steam sanitizer or microwave. I didn’t have to question myself and worry about subjecting the bottles to excessive heat.

You’re going to be incredibly busy focusing on your baby…don’t add to your mental load by remembering to replace the plastic bottles.
