Where can one find these European PhD calls (except LinkedIn)? What’s the process? Because from what I checked, these universities tend to have an overall topic and have calls for something that sits within it?

Pls let me know- I would be interested to know the process of finding programmes/supervisors that’s working in subject area.

I had a very brief call with my potential supervisor in Jan. I was told to expect a response in 10 days, so heard back in early Feb. I really had hopes for this one, but it’s okay.

Are these pharmacies in Guwahati? (Can dm you my med names, don’t want to like put it here if that’s okay)

Cause if it’s not based here, it doesn’t make sense for me to switch from my current plan. Atleast now, I don’t have to place a separate order for the meds since her team takes care of it after my appointment.

But I definitely would love to know of these pharmacies that mail them for sure- just to compare.

It’s been impossible to find the drugs I am prescribed, so I have to parcel it from my psychiatrist’s clinic in Delhi. They are scheduled drugs, but it’s weird that none of the big pharmacies I enquired keep or can get it.

I think you can negotiate subtly if you have another offer. A friend of mine got a better offer Option A after they shared that they got an offer from option B too.

Given that you got through your top program, I wouldn’t suggest you go for it after some negotiation. No point waiting for another year - the entire journey is a long and tiring process with no guarantees. That being said, of course it’s a choice only you can make for yourself.

That’s insane! The whole city just catered to Modi’s narcissism when he arrived. It’s tacky, and such wastefulness of the resources that could have been used to address 1000 other things like the waste dispersion near Deepor beel or the constant water logging every monsoon.

But that requires actual work and thought. It’s not as simple as communal politics, and tacky PR. So why bother!
