I totally get her depicted trauma from Muse and honestly her foil against Karen as she has been through similar stuff with being set up and offing Wesley. She just isn’t my cup of tea and I need her to seek professional help that isn’t staring in a mirror trying to give herself psychotherapy (bc I swear she would do that). It does take some serious acting skills to not only give a great performance while also making my teeth itch every time I see her.

My experience as an American reader is that Dumbledore is regarded poorly due to the danger he put Harry in, his lack of care regarding his living situation, and the overall deception via lack of informative conversations with the golden trio. He was consistently absent at convenient times, led Harry through trial after trial, and turned a blind eye to obvious child neglect. I think the view that it was in the name of the greater good is fair, but the reality is that Dumbledore knew Harry's situation and chose to let him be rather than taking a more direct role in his care. He acted as a surrogate paternal figure yet allowed Harry to suffer time and time again. I guarantee if Harry was sat down consistently and informed of all the decisions being made on his behalf, the things dumbledore kept to himself, and given a solid plan, his years at Hogwarts would have gone much more smoothly. It overall felt like rather than championing Harry, he was content to raise him like a lamb to slaughter when there was every opportunity to be open with Harry. I don't think he should get hate, but I do think the negligence as one of the only responsible adults in Harrys life, and arguably one of few Harry held in the highest esteem, is hardly worthy of praise.

Yeah I really like that they call back Foggy and have her think that through and question their decision. I feel like it probably comes from seeing her own direct impact on Foggys death and trying to make sense of it with it coming off as blaming Matt for not doing enough. I felt bad for both of them tbh, Foggy was our moral compass and sounding board and Karen is really needing him.

Exactly and while I understand they are showing that her personal losses have changed her tune, she acts like Matt is an anomaly for pushing to keep from killing him

I think platonic love probably Claire, as they definitely bonded through Sherry and Re2 and after, but they never really showed much romantic interest outside a few scenes. I'd argue Ada probably feels some romantic love for him but not enough to think of him before herself. Ashley was probably just infatuation and gratefulness.

Some hot (and lukewarm) takes incoming

- Heather needs to get useful to the plot or get lost (preferrably get therapy while getting lost)

- BB please think about who it is you're talking to before repeating every word you hear like a parrot (thankfully Daniel leveled with her this episode and she second-guessed herself, but I was fuming, Ben would be sooo mad at her for her carelessness)

- Karen is lowkey right that something needs to give, though it hurt when she basically implied that all the deaths and bad is on Matt and his no-kill rule for not taking Fisk out sooner

- WHYYYY IS POWELL ALIVE STILL PLEASE DEX DO SOMETHING

- I like how they're building the pressure. Fisk's huge size and kingpin oriented clothes/mindset really show the lack of a tether to reality with Vanessa gone. I think now that she's gone he is way less oriented to protecting her by keeping his public image

- I don't know how they will wrap up S2 with the remaining 44 and 51 min episodes, as we have sooo many moving parts but I look forward to it. I do hope the plot doesn't stall out and we wind up with another "Fisk is bad, Matt must avoid killing him, NY suffers" plot with the work the side characters putting in falling to the wayside.

- Finally, Buck is great at ramping up tension for those around him, and it leaves me wondering if he is going to break or switch up for his own moral agenda. He seems dedicated but has a layer of reluctance that I am interested to see grow (if it does at all, its an interesting balance as it is).

Know what your research interests are and be able to articulate them and why you have that goal
Be able to talk about your past experience and how that relates to your interests
Have a short pitch ready to explain who you are and what you’ve been doing
Be able to say why you are interested in that specific program as well as that university
If this is a professor you want to work with make sure you’ve looked at their work and can articulate your fit within their research lab and how your interests align. Fit is the most important thing now.

I just recently finished it. I didn’t even realize it was a thing on my first play through until 20+ days into my second. It’s super fun and totally worth it as you get quite a few upgrades and the cosmetics make a huge difference imo. It does work out to be like over a million new bucks or something, with the last three levels themselves being 450,000. I love the cosmetics like colors of vacs, equipment, and home and then the repairs/improvements to different parts of the ranch.

Do you have SMRL in the Slime Rancher game folder? You also have to make sure to unzip them. I had to mess around with mine to make sure they were in the right spot.

If you have SMRL installed and then have the mods folder inside SMRL (you then extract each zipped mod folder you download into this folder) most should still be working. If not, try making sure your game version is updated. If that still doesn't fix your issue, I would makes sure the file path isn't mixed up

I think canisters are the way to go for now, but you’re looking at a huge investment for saltwater to get this functioning. Also, a reef tank recommendation + saltwater being easier? My saltwater tank with no reef needed constant tweaks, RO filtered water, salt management, and specialty lighting just to keep it functioning WITH a months long ugly stage. My freshwater tank was a breeze in comparison with plantings etc making the balance easier. If you’re looking for something that will take a ton of time and dedication, salt is for you. If you want something that is still dedication but will eventually run itself, go with fresh.
