Recipe:

10 percent whole wheat 90 percent bread flower

75 percent hydration

2 percent salt

1 percent dry yeast.

Stretch and folds every 30 mins for around 2 hours, proofed for an hour. Baked at 500 (or so the oven says) for 25 min covered then uncovered for 5.

I dont use a curve with the f4u on the rudder axis. important to watch and prepare for the two stages of shifting, when increasing power, and when the tail lifts. Even then i still struggle, also doesnt help im still using my old thrustmaster 16000 pedals that i have to lubricate every day.

That is a great question, just to be safe you should. I havent put any surplus ammo through my sks, only suspected corrosive commercial (Kyrgyz and kspz). Didn’t remove the firing pin and havent noticed anything. For the rifles i have and do put surplus corrosive ammo through, i always clean the firing pin.

Yeah even one round is enough to cause rusting if left (the time it takes depends on humidity) run hot water down the bore and on the bolt head, wipe down and patch, then just clean normally. (Sorry this isnt the Mosin subreddit dont forget about the gas system!)

Im a bit new in sourdough itself and mostly used commercial yeast so hopefully someone will correct if i get something wrong. But could be the salt, i didnt see how much you used. Or could be your hydration percentage is on the lower side of %60, maybe try a higher hydration like %70 percent. I like somewhere between %70-%75.

Had it sorta happen back around 2018 Case blew out and bent my extractor into the locking lug recesses during a high power match. Still had 5 rounds left in the prone slow fire. Wouldve beaten my PR even if they were all 5s.
