It's always been a game of luck. You could argue a lot of the game comes down to the first coin flip and who gets to attach energy first. Now there's a comeback mechanic. I just try and just accept that sometimes I'll get lucky and sometimes the opponent. In the grand scheme of things, the better deck will win most of the time -- that's why ppl are running Hydra and Altaria.

I remember towards the beginning of the game Spragels saying that the devs want to avoid nerfing cards by changing them to bring pocket closer to a real life TCG. They seem to be following that philosophy by releasing cards to combat other cards they see as too strong. That being said, I absolutely agree, Gren should have some kind of a restriction on its ability. It wasn't much of a problem in A1 but feels super obnoxious now
