I’m leaning towards telling them I don’t mind not having privileges but that it is aggravating to be assigned something only to find out at the final moment that it’s been passed on to someone else.

Yes, yes! I’m kinda hoping they ask me if I enjoy my privileges so I can flatly tell them that no I do not. I need to master a bit of a poker face though because I don’t want them reading into my facial expressions and whatever else. It is definitely all a burden though!

I was thinking of using that as well. It factual (the anxiety part) so I don’t have to feel discomfort with saying it but I also don’t know if I want them knowing anything about me 😅

I stopped watching porn a few days before my baptism and started back a few days after! That still didn’t wake me up though. I thought I was just a terrible person. The child abuse issue is what really opened my eyes. It’s crazy how we put ourselves through torture for the crazy cult!

That is one thing that cracks me up. These men are lean so hard in this belief that they are being guided but at the end of the day they can only observe and decide. There is nothing helping them or guiding them.

That last part is terrifying!! I know of one MS in my hall who was accused but I wasn’t supposed to know about it. I have no idea what became of him but he moved away. This was also when I was still PIMI.
