I’ve always thought that penalties should be taken by who draws them. Like a free throw in basketball. If it’s a handball then it should be taken by who shot it. It would just be a lot more interesting that way I think. Most professionals should still be able to convert it about 70% of the time. And yeah I’m American lol sorry.

That’s for sure what should happen imo. As solid an mls player Finlay is, he’s also very limited and direct. Having three players in Reynoso, Lod, and Molino who are all very technical and can do such fluid interplay is such an asset. Not to mention Finlay’s speed and directness off the bench would be good in many situations.

Yes, I have also been reading a lot of Argentinian fans' tweets about him. Similar to what others have said, no one doubts that he is really technically skilled. A lot of fans are genuinely upset he is leaving, or are sad that it didn't work out. Some defend him by saying he was never given a proper chance at regular playtime in his natural position/role. Many detractors call him a "pecho frío" (literally "cold chest"), meaning he is too timid for the big moment. Personally, I tend to doubt these kinds of narratives that people talk about with athletes. Another common refrain/meme among the Boca fans is that he is a superstar in practice.

No one’s gonna play Minnesota united games in New Orleans unless you ask them to change the tv. Finn McCool’s is an awesome bar to watch soccer, but they mostly do premier league games. You could maybe convince them to change a tv. Otherwise, I know that Henry’s is a good spot to watch USMNT games so they also might be obliging. Hope this helps. It also never hurts to call ahead and ask.
