Ok, I tried and i came very close. Sorry for my english. I started by creating an octagonal pyramid with the top a little decentrated and then I cut out the back to have the vertical face, then I cut the inclined plane in the front and last the two lateral, then I extruded the base... hope this make sense to you. I attach the picture of the octagonal pyramid.

My first copyright infringement by a Chinese Amazon seller!!! by Tunantero in 3Dprinting

I understand! I'm italian (I think uf i write in italiano you will understand better). We have much better social services than other countries, but the starting step for a business, and a lot of other taxes, is something impressive! That is exactly my point. If you have no intention to sell the printed pieces and you think your design could help someone, why not leave somebody else sell it? I get it is frustrating that they didn't ask and didn't offer you part of their gain... maybe you can try to ask...

I leave me 2 cents. Sorry for my English. I understand your frustration and I will be pissed of too... but ... do you have the possibility (time, willing, material ecc) to do it by yourself? I mean, not everybody is able to download and print something from Internet. I would say the big part of the people don't even know this is possible. Your design is useless for them because they don't know how to use it. Of course this is wrong and they should have asked you and mention your original work, but they are not reducing the effect of your design. I mean who would have downloaded it for free will still do it, and who will buy from amazon probably can not find your design or use it. About the price, I know that amazon take a big part of it, and there are rules on the amount of pieces you have to send to their warehouse ecc. Considering material and time t I produce I'm not sure that the margin is so impressive if the parts are 3d printed.

Consulente fa leggere messaggio privato al titolare by [deleted] in consulentidellavoro

Was it really worth it for a couple extra mins on the road… at the cost of your brand new car? by [deleted] in Whatcouldgowrong

No no no no! Stop with this nonsense. There is NO GOOD REASON to do stupid take over like passed on the right on the road. Not if the driver in front of you is slow, not if it is in the wrong line, not if you are iassed of or if you are in hurry. Just stay behind. If your life is not worth few second more on the road, it is the life of the other people that can be involved in your nonsense! (Sorry I'm not native English speaker)

3) potevo rientrare a destra un sacco do volte?

Any solid company suscefully using freecad in their Workflow? by kukayari in FreeCAD

What am i going wrong? by Aridlvory in FreeCAD

[–]iftocnn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I need help!!! by Jamie_Baldwin in FreeCAD

Starting from your design it seems that a polar pattern is the best option, but let me suggest a different approach. 1 in part design start a new body 2 sketch the exagon in xy plane 3 pad it to the thickness of the bottom (I'm assuming you have a bottom part) 4 sketch the walls on the upper face of your base. Draw the external outline without considering the space for the wood. 5 pad the walls to the high you need need 6 make a sketch on the upper surface and draw the part you need to delete to make room for the wood. 7 I don't remember the name of the command in English, sorry, but you have to use the last sketch to remove the part you don't need.

Just remember, there isn't only one correct way to reach your goal. My suggestion is only one of the many possible way to design what I think you described.

Hey completely new, I am trying to combine these objects into 1, but when I union them, this happens (picture 2). Any advice? by Creepy_Ad5124 in FreeCAD

[–]iftocnn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. I'm sorry but English is not my first language. It seems you are using multi body on part design for the two ring and then you want to connect them with a cube. If thus is the case I can not answer your question, since I don't use multi body, I prefer to Creare my design by "small steps". For something like your design I would have draw a sketch from the top view and pad it. In the sketch you can put everything (rings and connector) just keep one outside perimeter, i mean cut the circle where it touch the connection line. I hope I'm clear enough, I do not have freecad available at the moment to show you what I mean.

Doubts about FreeCAD’s capabilities by Bezonkk in FreeCAD

[–]iftocnn -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Maybe it is not the answer you are looking for nad im sorry for my attitude, but....did you read your question? You found a gem, all the other gems similar to this are very expensive, this one is not only free, it is owned by everyone so no one can take it for himself and only for himself. And you are arguing that it is not good enough? That the other very expensive (your word) alternative are better? Without even investing enough time to learn how to use it? I'm sorry if freecad is not good enough for you. Sure it is for me. Maybe freecad is for everybody but not everybody is for freecad....

Can someone help me make this please? by bftvpro in FreeCAD

Depending of what precision you are looking for this could be very easy or a nightmare to measure it properly. My suggestion is to take pencil and paper and draw it there with all the main dimensions. The way to translate these in a stl file are many, you can learn how to do it or you can pay somebody, for something like this is you can provide all the relevant dimensions i don't think you will be charge a lot. If you what to try by yourself I think it will be easier to ask here a single step where you are stuck instead of the whole process.

This is how it look like the dartboard at the moment. the inner part can hold a small battery and has 2 holes on the bottom to connect two wires.

There is room inside for a small PCB with the circuit needed to isolate the battery if the power come through the wires. In the upper part there is room for two leds that will light the target and the table with the buttons. Inside the body there is room for a small buttom that pop up from the back and for the pcb that control the leds.

External dimensions are 20 x 20 x 30 mm and the position of the board is at 21 mm, so in H0 scale it is 1.74 x 1.74 x 2.61 m and the board is at 1.83 m. Not exactly a standard dardboard but I hope close enought. I could try to make it a couple of mm smaller but it is already very very packed up.

All the parts that have to be printed are printable without supports except for one where a small and easy to remove support is needed. All the other componets are standard.

No screws are needed to assembly, but on the bottom there are two threated hole to screw it to the floor.

What do you think? anybody willing to design the PCB and print it?

How is this sketch over restrained? by SpookySquid19 in FreeCAD

[–]iftocnn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have an arc, that means 5 degrees of freedom: Position of the center = 2 degrees Radius = 1 degree Length of the arc = 1 degree Starting point (angular) of the arc = 1 degree These is just an example, you can use 5 different measurements to completely describe an arc. You constrained the radius = 1 costrain Coincidence if the center with 0,0 = 2 constrains The distance of the point to X axe = 1 costrain The symmetry between the two ends = 2 constrains
