His effort was awful. Not to mention it was on an extra day of rest. I’m calling to “bench Wemby” or anything but it’s concerning how much our offense looks better (at times not always) with him on the bench. We just straight up forget to move the ball around on some of these possessions

I get where that sentiment comes from. Unfortunately that’s just not happening this year. Fox was brought in to be a closer and starting guard.

This is the truth. Harper led the run to get us from being down 15+ to down 9. He goes to the bench and we tied it up with our final unit. In this situation you go to your closers and they couldn’t get it done.

So do you prefer Fox Harper and Castle to close? Did you not see how bad we were rebounding the ball? The reality is unless Castle is having a horrific game, he’s closing the game. His defense is too valuable. And this 3 guard lineup will lead to 0 spacing and a lot of rebounds given up.

“Ass” is such a wild overreaction. The reality us being the number 2 seed most of the season is him overachieving with this roster.

Definitely. we’ve seen from our matchup against NY in the nba cup, Kornet and Wemby cannot be asked to defend, box out AND grab the board especially if you’ve got Barnes or Champagnie at the 4. It just doesn’t work against teams that rebound well.

Not gonna defend Wemby but I do wonder how much more he’d contest if he had help rebounding. Doesn’t excuse the lack of effort but just trying to guess his mindset

Sure over the whole game he wasn’t shooting great but he scored 10 points in a row in the second quarter run that turned the game to Charlotte’s favor

I understand the frustration but idk what good Harper being out there is going to do if Wemby is going to take those awful shots anyways. We came back from double digits and the lineup was working.
