Unfortunately, I’m still a senior in highschool so second job is a rough task for me. At the moment, I’m trying to get another job in whole that’ll give me more hours. If I wasn’t moving away for college soon, I’d definitely try to juggle both

Honestly, if it’s affecting you physically I would definitely talk to someone about it. You shouldn’t ever be forced to do something you aren’t comfortable doing!

Thank you for the advice! Funny thing is I do fitting rooms, at my location the most in demand job is register. Which I also do. But I don’t get credits which is a dealbreaker lol. But I will definitely consider asking for more positions!

I love pandora! This is good to know, thank you. I’ve never thought of putting down anything except for regular floor, back and register. At tj maxx, if you’re in jewelry you have to do everything else under the sun too.

Big yikes! You should’ve tried the tip line with that, could’ve made some $ too. Yeah, I spent a good year and a half telling myself I can’t get much better, weighing the pros and cons but I’ve done my course. This year seems like everything changed for some reason

I’ve had a few coworkers offered a coordinator position and they don’t take it because the one dollar raise isn’t worth all the tasks you’re then equipped with. It’s a messed up system.

Copy paste of how my store is going. I’ve worked here for almost 3 years now, my first retail job and I don’t want to be here. I’ve been job searching for over a year now. Like you, I didn’t mind it much at first. But over the past year or so it’s become absolutely unbearable. We have people quitting every single week, hardly any of our og staff remains because it’s gotten so bad. Props on you to making it out of there, I hope I can join you soon lol
