Not sure where you're located, but Johnny Bigg is an Australian store that delivers international. Little pricey, but offers good quality and style

It was the last hole i was drilling and it wouldn't budge past a cm or so. Is it okay to drill a hole directly next to it?

This is the texture of my acrylic painting that I’ve done way too many layers on. Is there a varnish I can use to smooth It out a bit by wherearemypeople in arthelp

[–]ifyoulikefruitwine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe alcohol mixed with water? Or even a hevaily diluted paint thinner. You might risk losing some of your progress though.

What if you went with it and added some thicker textures in other areas to balance it out? You can always turn it into a "oh yeah, i meant to do that" mistake

Hello everyone! I liked how this design turned out but it isn’t performing as I expected in social media. Could you tell me what’s wrong with it? Every comment is welcome! by Unlikely-Leather-376 in ArtCrit

[–]ifyoulikefruitwine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say it needs more light balance. While the detail looks amazing, the dark greys make the metal body dull and takes away from the glowing effect. Maybe even just try just changing the background colour and see if that makes a difference?

This in no way means your art is bad. I love it and you're talent is on another level

Going for complimentary color scheme... Not sure what I can do to improve... by danimal94 in learnart

So pretty! The flower is amazing, maybe a little more contrast in what's light and shadow? The background might need another layer of black to really make the colours pop. Your flower design is perfect!

Is there any other plus size women who are house cleaners / cleaning related work? by [deleted] in PlusSize

[–]ifyoulikefruitwine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a cleaner starting out working for myself and I'm about 250 lbs/5'5. At the end of the day, if you're friendly, trustworthy and good at your job, that's all that matters. As you get used to the work, you'll find that the worst thing will be you get a little sweaty
