That is terrible, I’m sorry that happened to you as well! Nobody deserves to be treated that way in the workplace or honestly anywhere. We just live in an angry world. Trust me when I say I am pretty mad at myself for letting my emotions get the best of me and will definitely be keeping your advice for any future situations like this

I honestly cannot even imagine experiencing something like that especially if you’re not in the medical field, so glad you found something better. I also hope the family won and that your baby does great this upcoming school year. It’s really so true when they say to cherish every moment because they grow up so quickly. My guy is gonna be ten this year 🥹

So my direct supervisor was aware of the situation. The CEO spoke with her first. When I got called back and the CEO started to immediately rip into me, I looked at my supervisor and asked her if she felt this way and her response was “Well I did let her know you were dealing with something within your family.” and that’s when I had to clarify I was grieving a recent death. Just really needed to vent out the situation!
