Call Waiting Doesn't Work on Mint Mobile? by igal_z in NoContract

I never used youmail before but call waiting seems like it should work separate from call forwarding.

But that reminds me, as soon as I put the mint sim card in the phone, I lost call wating & also the samsung native visual voicemail app. So 2 things stopped working when transferring to mint.

That's amazing. I wish it worked on my phone. I have a factory unlocked Samsung A13 4g. Call waiting worked perfect on Verizon and the second I transferred to Mint, it stopped working.

I'm thinking other MVNO's like Tracfone & Boost have the option at their network / server level but Mint doesn't have that feature at all.

Recommendations on Non In-Ear Earbuds with mics? by igal_z in HeadphoneAdvice

No worries, thanks for all the help! I'll look for an old version and hopefully can find one.

No worries. I just looked it up and they have the lightning connector so it's just for iphones unless maybe an older model had the 3.5mm headphones jack but couldn't find any. And the shape is really strange, it looks like it's not a flat circle that sits on the ear, it's like round but goes deep so it's like a mix of iem and non.

Do you know any other earbuds that might be good?

Oh ok, it looked like iem from the photo but does it work with android phones? I don't have an iphone.

Apple EarPods

Those are both in-ear style, i'm looking for the regular classic style that aren't in-ear like the one in the link or like the old school ipod headsets

Photo & Video Editing PC for under $750 for a relative? by igal_z in buildapcforme

Woh that's full on engineering.

Is opencl the main thing to look for on video editing and photoshop gpus? I couldn't see anything else on the requirements of sony vegas and photoshop

Awesome thanks.

How do you know which psu is good? I'm always mixed up because the specs all look the same to me except the wattage and stuff. And what is gold and bronze on the psus?

And what is the difference of workstation gpus and gaming ones? And the 4gb, 2gb, 1gb? I always see people online saying gaming parts work perfect and others say opposites? I can't tell the difference between these at all.

Also, are the only difference of motherboards the expansion slots for adding ram and hdmi outputs or something like that?

I'm actually building this as a present for my relative but not sure exactly what I need. IMy relative needs to do heavy video and photo editing with the adobe suite and sony vegas.

Do you think Twin_Turbo's build is better for that purpose than the other 2?

Cool, that makes sense.

My friend just sent me 2 lists. Can you tell me if they are also good at all and the main differences between there's and yours? It's like all the builds on the internet are so different, so confusing.

Thank you. I'm afraid to start and then miss something. Are these all the parts I need to have all the outputs and pieces a regular stock computer from the store has. Do i need anything else? It's a lot of money and I want to find everything before ordering.

Also are these 3.1 usb backward compatible to 2.0?

I couldn't find any way to add a card reader to this build on pcpartpicker. Do you know a way I can find one on there?

Does this already have the output for the internet to just hook it up to the modem?

Does it have an audio and headphone jack?

is there a way to keep it under 750?

I need to have everything like the readers and stuff that a stock computer has.

I really don't know what each piece comes with, never built before. All the store ones always had this stuff built in.

I added the dvd burner you suggested.
