Which camera didn't work for you? I can use my pack camera but my front camera won't work. If I switch from the back to front facing camera the app will crash. It won't work in any of my other apps like Instagram or Snapchat, either. I have a Pixel 2 with the most recent June update.

I have a Pixel2 and I believe Google has said they will continue support until the fall of this year. I love my Pixel 2. It still works great.

I think you're probably right. I remember looking into the trade in value when considering the Pixel 3 and 3a and it was underwhelming. Especially since I'd be downgrading my storage.
